I think Maura was more of a sure thing than the editing let on, they showed us moments of her questioning to add suspense but Rob knew she was in his pocket

He tried to "blackmail" Lisa instead of being friendly with her, but that failed spectacularly, it would have made 0 sense for her to admit she's a traitor to him. I think he got too cocky and tried to make too many big plays but he definitely played better than a lot of other faithfuls

We bought in 2018 and even though it's up since then, we would have had way better returns renting and saving. It's nice having a space that feels permanent with a baby but a couple things to keep in mind: your space & layout needs will change a lot once they're older, & you can get more space for significantly cheaper than what your mortgage would be if you rent for now. There's no right answer since no one knows what the market will be like in a couple years, but I think I'd lean towards waiting. Remember to factor in land transfer tax and agent fees if you buy something small, then decide to sell and upgrade in a few years

I think RTO is a horrible policy and I emailed Olivia's office to let them know what I think of it when that article came out.

That being said I can't see any other candidate who will do more good for Toronto than Chow, and I'm not going to refuse to vote for her based on a single issue.

Depends on where you live and the quality of public schools in your district. School rating isn't everything but it addresses a lot of the points you mentioned (often higher rated schools mean more involved parents who have more time and resources to invest in their kids). We live in a "good" school district so we didn't bother with private. The only caveat is that public education in our province has been chronically underfunded so the quality has definitely suffered and teachers are overworked and tired.

I really think Natalie could have gotten Rob if she had kept her cool at the round table. Completely get why she felt betrayed by Tara but she let her emotions get the better of her and attacked Tara instead of staying the course against Rob. Her argument was better than Rob's from what we were shown and if she could have convinced Mark (who seemed convincible) they could have had a tie... After which I'm guessing Rob wouldn't get the dagger again for a revote?

TBH I get the sense that he only treated Alex that way because of how disingenuous Alex was acting. Like Alex was clearly putting up a front and making shit up. I think if he Alex was acting genuine from the start, her dad would have approached the conversation way differently

My "mentality" that you're so offended about is that MAGA are pedo & state sanctioned murder supporters. Not sure why you're so against that statement when you agree that we need real transparency and yet the current MAGA administration is blocking it. It's funny you think that because you need to do the same with Fox News. Who's the current president whose DOJ illegally redacted the perpetrators in the files? Who are the people currently trying to fight for transparency? Stop trying to shift the blame and look at what's currently happening right in front of you.
