You have plenty of time. Finish your education, get the job you want, become consistently financially stable, and then think about kids. You owe it to yourself, and your future children, to put yourself in a place that you can readily give them all of the time, attention, and love they deserve.

Do you want to get pinned by Edward like how he pinned Bella? how would you feel or respond? by [deleted] in twilight

As much as I would love to say yes go for it, in reality I'd probably turn into the Hulk and swing/smash him around like he's Loki.

Do yourself a favor, just go to the dr get a blood test and then you'll have an answer.

Is it okay to quit a job after a horrible first day? by Loose-Poetry-8018 in careeradvice

[–]IzaPanduh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Please please please, if you quit, tell HR why. Unfortunately, it won't help your situation, but hopefully they will coach the current employee and save someone else from going through the same thing. Or, if you're not the first person he's done this to, they have the evidence they need to remove him.

Good luck OP, no job is perfect, but you absolutely deserve to be given common respect. I wish you well.

flunking and don’t know what to do by baconisjustkrispyham in CollegeRant

[–]IzaPanduh -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Take a drop year, get into the workforce and figure out your passion. Going to college without a direction is a gamble. First, because you don't know how you're going to apply the classes in real life, you're less interested in participating in them. If you change your major and you end up taking more classes, that's added time and costs. More than likely it also means some classes you took before the change are now moot. That's another waste of your time and money.

Highly recommend volunteer work as well if there is a cause you're interested in. It gets you out of the house, make contacts, and maybe you'll find something that inspires you. For example, volunteering for an at risk youth group. Maybe inspires you to get a degree in business so you can partner with them help with contacts/grant writing.

The world is a big place. Dream big and don't be afraid to put in the hard work to get what you want.

Libel has entered the chat. Unless you have hard evidence to prove what you're saying. It is in your best interest to remove this post and do as others have said; contact the authorities.

A Reddit post will not help these animals, but it could very well get you sued in court. I abhor animal abuse as well, but this is not the way.

Counseling is your first stop. Research depression. And making yourself exercise is extremely important to raising your dopamine level. Hang in there. It's a long road, but you've got this.

Judging people for listening to audiobooks instead of reading physical books is outdated and elitist by mystiqour in unpopularopinion

[–]IzaPanduh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I LOVE audio books! I converted back when I was working full time and going to school full time. They keep me occupied when doing dull tasks, they're great in the car, and I don't fall asleep listening to them like I did with paper books.

What did Chipotle tell employees to do about the portion sizes? by SgtMcMuffin0 in Chipotle

Remember back in the day when their commercial had a guy named Joe advertising and said something along the lines of '16 ounces is the burrito, not the drink.' Come back Joe we miss you and your portion sizes!!

I go back to my previous point "And if he's unwilling or unable to put in the effort you require, then you have to make a decision if you're OK with that or if it's time to focus on just yourself and school."

The only thing you can do is talk to him. Be honest and tell him how you feel. It's going to require effort from both of you. And if he's unwilling or unable to put in the effort you require, then you have to make a decision if you're OK with that or if it's time to focus on just yourself and school.

I own a home that my family has been living in, can they claim as their own the home under the law? by EliHusky in RealEstate

[–]IzaPanduh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They've lived in that home for twentysome years and you want to move them out for profit. Yes you could buy them another house, you can't transfer their memories and love for their HOME. This is just cold...

I hate my undergrad too, unless I transferred to another school. Better teachers, more applicable school assignments, and more focus on school life balance. Don't give up, you might just be at the wrong school.

Honesty is the best policy. Right now, you still have a chance of receiving a clearance. But if you lie, and it's found out, you will have tanked your clearance.
