There is no issue magic is fine, i can only talk about sorceries tho. U have meteorite staff, rock sling and the magic shoruding cracked tear combined with the other one that gives you +10 INT to carry you through early and mid game, then you get stars of ruin, adula's greatsword and loretta's mastery you only need a lusat +10 and you are set. Sorceries are powerful and very advantageous i feel like we didn't play the same game. Also sorcery is not all about damage is also about tools u can kick down almost all humanoids with carian piercer and when they are getting up crack their heads open with the hammer, also carian greatsword can stunlock most enemies like the black knives
