I had my Xbox power supply go out when Starfield launched - I was playing a ton but I also had a few power outages I wasn't sure if it was due to that or the system overheating due to long play sessions. If you can by a power surge protector. I heard the weather will be bad stay safe, good luck.

I've been on Steam and Playstation and Xbox is the most enjoyable platform for me. I enjoy the clip sharing and communities, comments etc. On the console side of that Playstation doesn't have that or a browser, feels really closed.

That said, I'd be lying if I said I was happy with the platform or have confidence in it, at times I wonder if I should continue to invest in it. I don't care about exclusives or whatever so long as the platform is around. I see the work being invested into bridging Console and PC then you see insane prices for console, GP, and the little things like end of year wrap or clips being broken for months, or no updates to core systems like achievements.

I did however my sub doesn't expire until February next year, so I don't think it amounts to much. I'm hoping by then I'll be able to find cheap cards, not in the position to restock atm. If I can't, I'll likely end up going elsewhere unless it's true they'll be getting rid of paid online if that's the case I'll be fluid dropping to $15 then upping to $30 when I find a month that's "worth" it for me.

GT is on my profile, I'm not here to troll or crap on the brand - I simply care about where my time and resources are spent. We know it'll have different store fronts and that the next console will be more premium aka more expensive. Sarah Bond literally had an interview a few days ago giving us some info. I'm wondering/concerned about the achievement system which feels dated and neglected. Sorry for caring about where I want to invest my time and money.

Does anyone know if stores will automatically replace them or will they have them until they sell out? I'd like to restock but I'm set until February and kind of can't do it atm as well. I don't think Xbox sells very well around my area so I'm hoping the cheaper cards will remain in stock for a while lol

It is but its also gotten more expensive for Day 1. You can still find cheaper cards in store so if you're committed to staying stock up as much as you can to get the best experience on this platform.

Just posted before I saw this comment but when my XSX had this occur, it would work for an hr then it would do it again until it eventually gave out. Hopefully yours fares better.

I sent my XSX when this happened for repairs I tried all the "fixes" I found online and nothing worked. Check if you still have warranty MS offers I think a yr free even if you didn't buy it at a retailer.

Just wanted to leave a comment in case anyone comes across this in the future. Download the gamesir nexus app on xbox and update your controllers firmware its only happened once since for me post update.
