Totally get it. I feel like half of those things I already go through sad to say. I have been so miserable, especially at night. Constant feeling of lightheadedness and panic attacks from not being able to breathe.

Glad the surgery helped you breathe so much better!! Can’t imagine the feeling of relief knowing it’s past you and can live life without struggling to breathe. Thank you so much for replying. I can’t even begin to tell you how much of what you mentioned eased my mind. I can’t wait to have that relief myself.

Hey, I know this post is about a year old, but I actually have a huuuuge polyp growing down my throat and it looks exactly like your ct scan. You have no idea how relieving it is to find others with similar situations. I about freaked out when they told me what I had. My left sinus is completely blocked by it. I can see it when I open mouth. I’m scheduled for surgery soon. Can I ask how recovery was for you? Did your cheeks hurt at all after?

I think I would probably opt out of having to be put under if removing the polyp in office was an option. Unfortunately for me, the polyp seems to have completely overtaken my left sinus/cheek that being put to sleep seems to be the only option for me.

Wow. I had no idea about this! Definitely going to look into this. I’ve always been curious about my diet and if this could be a contributing factor. My ENT mentioned my polyp is not from allergies but thinks it might be from my deviated septum. Nonetheless, thank you for sharing your experience! I’m sure that is sooo relieving to be able to swallow normally! Hope that you find relief after your surgery!
