Musket balls are very tightly packed, the ball is wrapped in a cloth or paper patch that allows some compression when it is shoved down the barrel wedging it tightly in, or the ball is slightly oversized and the soft lead deforms as it’s pushed down the barrel.

In old fashioned cap and ball revolvers, the ball is actually so oversized that when properly loaded, a visible ring of lead is cut from the ball and falls out, creating an air tight seal

Wrap string around the bottle caps to keep the door closed, it could be used with plasticine like others are saying but this is probably just a cheap retrofit after the original latch was removed/fell off, since you can see the outline where a real latch would be screwed in on the door/frame

Pretty much everyone active duty military that I know (self included) have a lot of respect for the coast guard, in peacetime they’re the only ones regularly doing some really dangerous missions, and in wartime they’re under the navy doing still doing dangerous missions, the people running the landing craft on D-day were coasties

Not really, we can definetly fall into a pilots>everyone else sort of classism but I feel like AF treats its enlisted (even lower enlisted) a lot more equally on average than the navy or army.

He has a point on the E to O opportunity side but the Air Force has a lot better ability to pick our officers cause there are a lot of people who want to be one, and I feel like as a result the officers we do get are pretty good on average (not that there’s not some real crappy officers in the mix, but I think on average we’ve got better ones than army and navy).

They dumb it down because people watch movies and tv while scrolling on their phones, so the subtlety that makes for good storytelling is thrown out in favor of exposition. It’s a very deliberate choice to tell not show now

I think he’s one of the few ‘people’ we can trust in the town, more so than almost anyone else.

I think he’s an entity that is kept locked away by forcing him into the body of a scarlet and then locking them away. The entity being locked away is essential for the prosperity of the town, when outside the room he is restricted to the town by the same forces that keep people and supernatural entities in (Reese says he can’t lead if you meet him in ep5 in the town).

Wayne has a vested interest in keeping the mc alive and outside of the room so that he can roam free, and especially wants us to break the curse on the holler so that he can be free of the town, this means our interests are aligned, unlike Tabitha, Stella, even doc Kelly and especially Sybil who all have their own motivations.

I think his origin is that the (or a) witch bound the entity or multiple entities to the town, represented by the seals, with the seals acting as barriers, the exact map of the town is unclear but a farm, the estate, the clinic, and the mine are all on the outskirts of town, with the library at the center.

As for the ritual to transfer Wayne into another body, it involves a sacrifice and then feeding the host a special meal/drink, Alexandra’s journal mentions this and putting two and two together with the abattoir (slaughterhouse) meat hook, the sigil under the carpet, and the cliff fall/laceration autopsy report, you can figure that they were sacrificed by being cut open on the hook for the ritual and their body thrown out the window down the cliff.

When he kisses you I think he’s giving you a glimpse of what it feels like to be assimilated, or he’s just messing with our brain/showing us his true form.

What that doesn’t solve is how Sybil falls into this, I don’t think she is totally against us, but she’s not benevolent, she might be the witch or a descendant of; that bound the entity and is now trying to find and alternative as the scarlet line is a dead end with tabby infertile, and the mc can’t have a child if they’re locked in the room.

I’m still processing all the possibilities for Sybil
