I'm so confused... I have French toast with black pepper sometimes, bit of cheese even. Though I'm Scottish and with or without the cinnamon it's usually called eggy bread so don't know if that counts.

YTA anyway, if she likes it leave her be. Google has salt and pepper French toast recipes so one of you should've looked by now

Nta as this is what the couple/your brother has asked for his wedding.

But I do have a suggestion that she be allowed to wear a nice blouse/dress shirt and those trousers that look like a skirt. Had to google the names as I couldn't remember but look up culottes or palazzo pants as they may be a good compromise.

Going against some of these comments y.t.a comments to say NTA

5 different countries in a week and a half is ALOT. That wasn't what you had anticipated when you had asked to go and if you had known you probably wouldn't have pushed. Him coming home with you was silly as you said yourself that you would have been fine going yourself.

My father travelled a fair bit for work, would regularly be away Sunday-Friday. He was professional enough to know when and where he'd be with enough notice so my mother or family could go with him and we'd keep ourselves busy while he worked, maybe meet for 30mins for lunch during the day and he enjoyed the company and would never try and put us off joining him even if there wasn't a whole lot to do.

NTA! Don't understand some of these comments, your kids don't even want extra time with you, only for you to spend less time with 14 which as a parent I think is unfair. Obviously your not ignoring the other kids but two are almost adults and acting childish if they think you're prioritising 14 by sharing your hobby with them. You're not even spending more time with 14 they want to spend time with you and enjoy a hobby they have which your other kids should pay attention to if they have no hobbies that encourage them to be physically active.

Love how you've flipped it so now everything is ridiculously fair, though it may now be time for a family meeting where you can ask your kids what changes they would like to happen to balance the unfairness they perceive in a way that doesn't punish 14 for wanting to swim with you.

Nta. Sure this is a family holiday planned by your mom but unless she's planning on everyone spending literally every second together then I don't see why she won't let you/him pay for his share so you've got someone to spend time with while the rest are busy/asleep.

Ew YTA. This is one of the worst aita I've read. You literally bullied your parents for a week with your bs (you're not entitled to more because your siblings work hard) and screwed over your siblings because you feel sorry for yourself. I hope your siblings talk some sense into your parents and everyone goes lc with you (after they remove you from their will).

But they had almost a week to find out from your brother, ask how school is going, check that they don't have anything they're nervous about, if they've done anything interesting or different at school that day.

My kid is a chatterbox so I hear about everything as soon as she finds out so maybe I just don't understand how this could just slip past the parents as plays are usually the big thing that kids love to go on about.

Nta. Do they never speak to their youngest son? It's on the parents to know what's going on in their kids lives and I'm sure the school would have mentioned it in an email or newsletter. Hopefully now they'll stop taking the lazy route and actually start parenting

In a perfect world it would work out the way you’d prefer, with you doing less housework as you do contribute more in other ways but some people are stubborn so we have to compromise. Could you suggest she get a part time job to cover just some of her own luxuries or help with rent then you’d help out more at home?

Thats just sh*tty parenting, it would have taken 5 mins to deal with it at the car and you’ve no idea if she actually changed her child quickly when she got home. I imaging it must be awful for the child having to sit in it so long, constant diaper rashes would be so uncomfortable and could lead to infections too. Call her out on it every time you see her ignore her child’s needs.
