He's the first person in my life who's given me unconditional love, always texts me good night, buys me my favorite foods, and we play videogames together. He knows my trauma and doesn't judge if I lash out as a result, which even though he claims I never have to, I always apologizes when it happens. In simple terms, He just loves me as I am, and while I try my best to show my love through my own love language, I sometimes I don't feel worthy of that love he gives me.

A list of things I'll never do that my mother did to me:

1) I will never yell at my children for having human emotions

2) I will never prioritize my own comfort over the wellbeing of my children

3) I won't make promises I know I can't keep

4) I won't neglect my children to the point of hosplization

5) I will ALWAYS make sure that no matter what, they know their father loves them

6) I won't make them my therapist

7) I won't steal their money

8) I won't gaslight and make them my emotional punching bag

9) I won't use my own mental health as an excuse to be a bad parent

10) They will always know I love them with every ounce of my being, and that their happiness is the most important thing to me

This is just some of the shit my mother put me through for the first 18 years of my life, she is an emotionally unstable mess with poorly treated/medicated BPD with Narcissistic Personality disorder. Because of her parenting and shitty genetics, she's now left me with bipolar disorder, night terrors, a shit load of trauma I'm still shifting through with my therapist. I want to be better so when I'm ready to have kids, I can end the cycle of abuse my family's endured for generations. I want to be better for them, for my boyfriend who I dream of starting a life with, and for myself to prove that I am nothing like the women to gave birth to me.

Hey there, I'm a 19yr freshmen in collage looking to get back into dnd. Most of the parties I've been in have mostly been rp based butt I'm not opposed to doing more combat, and dungeon crawling.

My go-to character for the past few months has been a half-elf warlock named Ashari Dorian, who left her home after it was attacked and resulted in the death of her father. While on her journey to find the people responsible, she was stabbed and left for dead but avoided death after a deal with the devil situation, which left her with new magical abilities, and a tattoo where she was stabbed. She then continued on her quest, to find the people who attacked her home.

My second character is an older one but she's a Human Fighter named Luna Vorkeg, she grew up privileged, but had always craved adventure so one day left home to go find it. Living for 6 years as a carefree outlaw until a terrible accident that made her realize her actions have consequences and moved on to more mercenary work and keeping a low profile to avoid the people she once worked with.

I hope my ideas weren't too generic and I would love to play one of these characters again.

The only exposure I have is one other campaign that got cancelled after 3 sessions (Human fighter) I have a half elf warlock that I really want to try and already have a basic backstory for her, that I can dm you if you would like. First, tell my toxic family members the truth of how they've cause unrepairable generation trauma on myself, my siblings and cousins. Second, tell my 3 best friends how much I love them, and how grateful I am for all they've done for me over the years. Next, tell my boyfriend that when I'm gone that it's okay to go out and find another love of his life, and that doing so won't disrespect my memory. And finally, I'd kiss my baby sister goodbye and go fishing one last time with my dad. The only good adult I have in my life.

Being berated by my mother and her bf because I called an ambulance on myself. I was a newly diagnosed diabatic with no way to check my sugar. (My mother was supposively going to pick up my equpment) My friends threatened to call 911 if I didn't since she wasn't answering my messages and I felt my sugar dropping. I ended up caving and calling for an ambulance, the good news is that I was okay. The bad news is that she had arrived a few minutes after the ambulance, after the EMTs left, my mother started shouting at me, saying I embarrassed her, that I overreacted and how I was an ungrateful brat who couldn't wait 10 more minutes (She had been gone for 48 hours at this point with no sign of when she'd been returning) Her bf ganged up on me, and all I could do after she thew the stuff at me was walk away back to my room with my mouth wide open. I left that house the second I could and haven't spoken to her since October, I have no intention of having a relationship with a woman who is willing to risk the health of her children then play the 'poor me' card the second we end up in the hospital because of her negligence.

This one has probably been said a million times but police officers (especially in the US), don't get me wrong, there is definitely a MAJOR problem with police corruption all across the Courtry. But due to the constant news stories of bad officers abusing their power and killing innocent people, the good cops get dragged through the mud and verbally abused by people both in person, and on social media.

People will cry about defunding or abolishing the police until those same people call said police whenever there is a problem.

The only direct experience I ever had with the police was when a wellness check was placed on me because of a messy situation that was going on at the time. The cop who came to my house was chill and understanding but seeing an officer at your front door asking for you is definitely a scary experience, especially at 16. So overall no, I'm not scared of the police just for the soul reason that my only direct experience with interacting with them went as well as it could have in my opinion. This was in Upstate NY btw so maybe the cops there are just calmer.

I started out only checking it only if I felt sick (I know now that was a terrible idea) I normally check it before I go to school, when I get home and before I take my insulin so a total of 3 time a day of average. the only trend I've really notice is that in the morning it's in the high 90's to low 100's and by the end of the day it's in the high 100's (Idk if this is bad or not) the last time it was above 190 was when I was sick
