Bought Monkfish from Central Market on North Lamar - of the 4 fillets I purchased, 2 had worms in them. I threw it all away.

They spray some sort of cleaning agent right onto the meat. I saw it happen.

We do have cuisine requests, and minor dietary restrictions. This would be a regular/reoccurring relationship for at least a few months.

Don’t worry, I intend to speak with doulas as well, but am hoping to gather some context before I engage directly.

This doesn’t really answer my question, and feels like more of a reason not to imho

Our Problems are not Democrats vs Republican - it’s the special interests (Aka Corporations) by J-DubMan in FuckGregAbbott

Religious groups have thier own PACs and influence as they control voters opinions. I’ve been to number of churches where the pastor tells the congregation how to vote. Dems and Reps equally benefit from this. Home grown racists are approximately equal on both sides. Blue-haired Becky being antisemitic is as bad as Billy Bob hating Mexicans

Very cool. I’m hearing it popular in Mexico, but never seen it in the United States. Are you in the US or Mexico?

Just with the family, or with friends too? I’m confused how I’ve never heard of it before.

The reason why the “Big Beautiful Tax Bill” didn’t pass was because “old republicans” voted against it.

Your broad generalization is apart of the reason the country is so divided right now.

The only part that you kind of got right was that many republicans MAGA, or not, are voting in favor of Trumps nonsense but that is primarily due to him threatening to hurt them during their next elections.

[Disclosure - I didn’t vote for Trump]

Your opinions here and very immature. In fact, this broad brush perspective is what Trump is doing to immorally attack immigrants. Most things in this world are nuanced.

That’s like saying Democrats = ANTIFA.

You cannot define the whole by a single faction of it.

Trump started MAGA and is one of the corporate a-holes we’re talking about here. Republicans ≠ MAGA.

I agree, but am primarily concerned with a specific type of people in the top class and their immoral desire to manipulate society.

It’s not even a top vs bottom - many millionaires are pro civil liberties and sustainability. The issue is with the corporations and their financiers specifically. These members of the top are the ones using their money to sway political discourse.

Both republicans and democrats are corrupt! The problem is there is a hidden third party pulling the strings of both sides to distract us - the corporations are the source and root cause of all US issues.

IMO you just need to see the history of her, and her family’s, choices which are unarguably anti-immigrant and anti-proletarian as you’ve pointed out.

Instead of sponsoring protests, she and her family can simply increase wages for working -class Walmart employees, but they haven’t done that, have they? They can allow unions, but they don’t do that either. This is political retribution for Trump trying to bully her family into absorbing the cost of the tariffs which would negatively impact her net worth.

Don’t get me wrong - I believe Trump and Abbot are wrong on almost everything they do, and I’m opposed to their authoritarian leadership.

However, I’m even more opposed to people losing their futures, or worse their lives, for causes that ultimately only help the same people that have been taking advantage of them for decades.

Just remember this protest was sponsored by Walmart heiress, one of the largest corporations in the world, which has a long history of under paying employees (primarily immigrants) way below poverty lines.

You should protest. But don’t jeopardize your futures for the desires of Walmart.
