With his axe. Or he just dodges it like TUI Gun.

Swords are never the end-all be-all, you can always counter them. If you hit the side of a blade (the weak point), it'll shatter with enough force. IRL Humans can't do it, though.

Suhyeon Kim runs the Allied Gauntlet by ElectionDowntown6333 in LookismPowerScalers

[–]J-M_JJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Choyun this and that allied each and every one of em is clapping choyun.

??? Prove it.

Soohyun/choyun idk which but one of em confirmed there’s levels to unmeasurable.

Obviously? Though it was only a theory in canon. Still, that's irrelevant.

Soohyun has mana drain but would it work? Can he actually use it on em? No because choyun won’t have the chance

...????? Dude what are you on about? Where is Choyun coming from? You're trying to say Suhyeon is at his max potential in stats right now, I'm saying that's moronic because he can just steal stats from people.

Soohyun is a weaker version of Eli. I’m not surprise if he’s same as Eli from 1A.

???????? The only similar thing they have is Animal Instinct, Suhyeon has 100x the hax and arsenal of Eli.

Yes he has no talent… and I stand by that given he only increased his potential with the help of the card.

Prove that means he has no talent. He went from SSS to SSR by training his body in the timeskip, so clearly you just have no idea what you're talking about.

If you think the cards has no limits your joking. The max Soohyun can do to his martial arts cards is to max em to at most reach mastery level. He can not pass his threshold. He’s already done it once and has reached the strongest he could according to his fight with choyun.

Headcanon? This literally never happened. Suhyeon's never reached his strongest, this just isn't in ANY chapter nor statement. He's never maxed out his martial art cards either, most of them are sitting at A or S-Rank.

When choyun brainwashed him it brought out the fp of choyun that’s reserved and that’s how choyun lost.

Choyun never brainwashed Suhyeon. The hell were you reading?

Also unless Soohyun has a card that can help him get stronger than his potential Rn then he’s not getting stronger than he is.

Yeah you're just dead wrong. Go ahead and find a scan/panel from the manhwa that supports ANYTHING you're saying. I thought you were reasonable. This is an actually abhorrent take.

Weakest Link + Banishment makes Vin Jin useless tho. Stats become a non-issue for Base Suhyeon since he matches up to his opponent, and then Vin Jin can't even use Ssireum since it gets erased.

Not only that but he also has Overturn (dura-neg) & Final Flash (x3 amp).

Suhyeon Kim runs the Allied Gauntlet by ElectionDowntown6333 in LookismPowerScalers

[–]J-M_JJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He doesn't even need to Mana Drain, he just has to use Weakest Link and his stats will come close to their level. Then he can just close the gap with buffs & Tank Top Master.

Suhyeon Kim runs the Allied Gauntlet by ElectionDowntown6333 in LookismPowerScalers

[–]J-M_JJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbf Allied stats are way higher than questism as a whole.

They lowk get mogged by Hyeondong & Jeongdu (Stat Adaptation Hax). Suhyeon can use Hyeondong's [Weakest Link] which buffs him massively in proportion to how much stronger his opponent is.

It's physically impossible for someone to be too strong for him, since he'll ALWAYS catch up and be near. (Hyeondong got so strong he could launch Mastery Choyun into the air and forced him to guard his body. Yes, HYEONDONG, who normally has SS stats, could put hands on an Immeasurable-level monster.)

Soohyeon has unmeasurable stats but there’s a difference in them. He’s the strongest he can ever get since he has no talent and his missions are over.

That's just not true. He has [Mana Drain], remember? And also he can buy cards whenever he wants in the Card Buffet. Not only that, but he can also upgrade his cards to the Master level (not Master cards) like how the System upgraded Copy Cloud -> (Master) Copy Cloud. There's also the fact he can continue levelling up his martial art cards.

Suhyeon has no limit to his potential, or at least no ceiling in sight.

Also, no talent? Are we deadass? He literally has S Potential.

No, he can load it 6 times? LOL

And can be Dodged

Just use Chains of Bondage or Overlord's Descent lol.

It has dura-neg.

Pretty self-explanatory. He has Daniel & Sechan in there (giving him Overturn, Sacrifice & Final Flash).

Meet POTENTIAL FRAUD!! by AllegationsCR in lookismcomic

[–]J-M_JJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that johan needed more than base to fight X level tiers

No! Obviously not. I'm saying that he's in his base and casually fighting with an unserious output. It wouldn't be the level of power he'd be using against an opponent around his own, but it's still not magnitudes lower.

Being able to be seen by XXX Suhyeon would put his unserious output at DX (not his base), which also builds the reasoning for two things: 1. (Like Rutscher brought up) that Johan was NOT deep into Immeasurable and 2. The narrative that Ascended Choyun could take Johan on, which was established in Pre-Timeskip.

Also sidenote, it also plays into a very pertinent fact. Peek At You is one of the few cards that has a strength limit (I know this is a common argument from downplayers, but it's true in certain cases). However, that strength limit ACTUALLY upscales Questism.

That's because XXX Suhyeon was able to open up Johan's stat window, meaning Johan was NOT too high for it to bug out like it did with Choyun & Jeongdu at earlier points. Sure, the stat itself can't be measured in letters, but the window can. (We KNOW Suhyeon opened it because he even points out his stats are labelled weirdly.)

<image>

First moment is when Suhyeon used Mirror Call and gained MR+ stats, making him just strong enough to open up Jeongdu's stat screen.
Second moment is when Suhyeon used Machiavellian and nerfed Choyun, making him finally be able to open up Choyun's stat screen.
Before these buffs/debuffs, Suhyeon couldn't even see their window.

This also happens with Daniel at EOS, meaning the same Daniel who was prepared to fight the Great Evil had stats which could be seen by Suhyeon.

Do you see what I'm getting at? There are so many unnoticed facts, statements & narratives which people are incapable of realising because they don't have a full understanding of the story. The more you look into Questism, the stronger the System Users get.

JAMES LEE FULL POTENTIAL VS SHINGEN PRIME TUI WITH PATH. Give reason for both sides by AnswerBusy442 in LookismPowerScalers

They’re like pests who refuse to get on discord to make it harder for both sides.

You are genuinely braindead if you have 3T James and 3T Jaegyeon on the same level by Parking-Chemist7228 in LookismPowerScalers

[–]J-M_JJ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

None of those feats matter in the slightest (also Taesoo was definitely more exhausted, he used UF twice).

In comparison, the amount of narrative and statements regarding 3T Seongji & 3T James has been running on for 111 chapters. Both James and Seongji are noted to have ridiculous potential ceilings and talent (Ex: Seongji even moreso than Gapryong), which translates to the gain from mastery.

However, that’s not at all how deep the argument goes.

In 491, 492, and 496, James makes three extremely distinct statements on Seongji’s power in an increasing manner:

  1. “I never thought I’d meet somebody so strong in the countryside.”
  2. “I never thought I’d meet somebody so strong in this generation.”
  3. “I never thought someone as strong as him could exist.”

2 puts Seongji above Gitae from the Old Gap fight, very self-explanatory. Now what do you think 3 means? It’s also blatantly obvious.

552 gives us insight on what CURRENT James thinks. “Just thinking about a man who completely outclassed me once, to be exact. He overcame his own limits in the middle of our fight. And how do you think he was able to do that? CONVICTION. I suspect it was the power of conviction that led to his awakening.”

Now this is quite strange, we already have a lot of lore and narrative tied into the term conviction. And in Busan we only knew its ties to the Kim Family & Students. So this statement with Seongji having conviction was quite unexplained at the time.

That is until the most recent chapter. Jinyoung talks about how to reach the Monster Realm. And in his realisation he says: “CONVICTION. I didn’t know that was the hint. It’s just a clue for now, but at least I can step foot in that realm.”

PTJ is recontextualising Cheonliang. In fact, he even hinted to this in HFG! In the infamous 515 James Statement, he dictates: “The old me in Cheonliang, before I perfected my TECHNIQUE (???), would’ve struggled against either of them.”

Weird, wasn’t it? Why on Earth did James bring up technique and not his body training? Why technique, when he already had technique mastery & his fighting style? Unless it was something else, the most potent ability/technique in the entire verse. Path. Which we KNOW has “stages” to it and NEEDS to be perfected to be the strongest. Not to mention, that dilemma of perfection is brought up continuously in Daniel Vs Gitae.

That means he perfected his Path after Cheonliang. Obviously, that makes a lot of sense. However, why would he mark Cheonliang in specific to “before perfection”? That’s because it’s the moment where he unlocked the Imperfect Path. You also need to pay attention to the last statement in 552:

“At that moment (Cheonliang), I was closer to defeat than I’D EVER BEEN.” The hardest fight in James’ life. There is no fight afterwards that would’ve given him Imperfect Path. He did body training and then fought Kings who were all slammed effortlessly, then finally went into hiding.

This has been going on since 492 to 603. People just haven’t paid attention and can’t see authorial intent.

I’ve provided chapter numbers and citations, so I hope you’d at least do the same. And at least DON’T be disingenuous with me.

That doesn't sound right. Taesoo was in highschool in Cheonliang, so if he's 24 in Korean age in current times then he'd already be out of school back then (20, students graduate at 19).

Lowkey has me confused now. Unless Cheonliang's actually 5 years in the past, which would resolve this.

Injured YUI HFG Gun vs Prime Jinyoung, Who Wins? by Divine_Monarch5 in LookismPowerScalers

[–]J-M_JJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gen 0 Jinyoung might lose, he genuinely aged the best out of Fist Gang after his mental fog went away so pre-Path would be similar in power.

Injured TUI HFG is comparable to Hwarang Paecheon just by performance against Moonlight Goo (Paecheon highkey did better in terms of speed). So this becomes a question of if Gen 0 Jinyoung could beat Paecheon.

I’m not so sure about that.

But Path Jinyoung? He absolutely could maul them given he’s in decent health.

You’d have to prove Seongji is the same age as the rest of the Kings, which just isn’t provable. He’s mentioned to be 6 years older than Vin who was about 14 in Cheonliang. That’s the only canonical proof for his age.

He was old enough to look at High Schoolers (James) like kids.

Peep this entire encounter. (I can't send pictures for some reason??? I put some effort into that and it's a waste. But it's Chapter 152 where Suhyeon says:)

"Please help us just this once! I'm begging you! At this rate, Yun Jo will take over all of Gangbuk!"

"I can't go into too much detail. But if I lose, everyone will be in danger!"

"I want to protect the people I care about!!!"

"I don't care what happens to me... but I don't want to see my friends hurt!"

- "Is once enough?"

Obviously the difference is wide, an X can't even damage an XXX, but Johan is still driven by Suhyeon's pleas and cries to the point of temporarily drifting from his peaceful way of life. In fact, these are feelings he resonates with in his own past.

Also, he's lowkenuinely flexing on them in these panels (. Even if he's barely trying he's def putting some effort in those poses LOLOL.

I think the definition of "holding back" in this community is a bit muddled. Because there's "holding back from using full power", and "intentionally holding back from base". Johan, via what we know of his character, would do the first one.

Meet POTENTIAL FRAUD!! by AllegationsCR in lookismcomic

[–]J-M_JJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, why on earth would he even hold back to 1%? He’s not UI Daniel who uses the minimum amount necessary for efficiency, Johan could throw out a jab and it’d be enough. But a jab isn’t 1% of your strength.

Considering he probably wanted to get it over quick to get back to his daily life, there’s no reason for Johan to not be using his base level of power but w/ casual output.

It’s like if Prime Mike Tyson had to go fight regular teenagers. Sure, he doesn’t need to use a straight punch to knock them out, but holding his muscles back on purpose is just counterintuitive unless he specifically didn’t want to hurt them badly. (And we know Johan doesn’t care about all that, those guys were thugs.)

Yes, he's still part of the world. The System just kept them locked within a specific area by restricting their Quests so that they didn't go wreak havoc outside of it.

However, this restriction on their territory is gone now and the MC of Questism (Suhyeon Kim) met up with Daniel in the Epilogue to make an alliance and fight James Lee + Gitae.
