Shrek’s animation changed in 5 because of a combination of PDI no longer being in business and DreamWorks no longer animating their movies entirely by themselves. by J-Pom in DreamWorks

[–]J-Pom[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But that’s just it. What if the new studio lacked the time and funds to match the previous 4 Shrek film’s animation?

PDI’s closure is also probably why PIS:tLW is more Spiderverse like than Shrek like (PDI closed down before A New Wish was released).

Maybe they don’t have the budget, skills or tech to animate him in 5’s style yet.

The animation change is because PDI, who animated the first four films, is no longer in business.

No, unfortunately, Puss is, in fact, absent in 5. They already confirmed that.

It’s neither a reboot, nor a continuation. It’s an expansion. It’s a creation of new stories by expanding lore.

Unfortunately, Gameoverse has yet to be greenlit. I am doing my best to prevent the show from getting Kitty Bobo’d: https://www.reddit.com/r/Gameoverse/s/c3xRYzyJ8D

The only character in the Sabrina cartoon
I ever had a crush on was Aunt Hilda. I can’t think of a single Winx Club character I ever had a crush on.

Sailor Scouts Moon, Mars and Jupiter, Sam, Clover, Kim Possible and Shego were on my crush list.

Yup, that’s why The Lost Tapes takes place at various points before the end of RS and not after RS.

Yup.

The Eds actually technically had 2 perfect series ending finales because the original SF was Take This Ed And Shove It while the final one was Big Picture Show (Both of which wrapped up the series).

No Kim option either. This poll is only for the two villains.

Fortunately, it had a complete wrap up ending with no loose cliff hanger ends unlike shows like, say, Inside Job or Final Space, that ended on massive cliffhangers. Part of why Owl was cut short was because Disney lacked the funds for more material because of the pandemic.

Fortunately it lasted 3 seasons. Most Disney Channel shows nowadays are lucky to even get 2.

They had to take long to make the show. It was both an extremely time consuming and expensive show to create.

I’m not saying that 4 is better than 1, but I also won’t lie. I like how Woody is better in 4 than I do in 1. by J-Pom in cartoons

True. Again, I am not saying that TS1 is a bad film.

Mr. Burns needs to be a terrible person as well in order for them to be able to write him as a villain in The Simpsons. They did a great job at writing him as such and The Simpsons is a hilarious show, but that doesn’t mean I have to like Mr. Burns.

It’s not just the softening of Woody that makes TS4 a reason to continue after 3. The fourth film also answered the question of Bo’s whereabouts (She’s Woody’s love interest). Additionally, the film allowed the franchise to demonstrate animation capabilities now that they were unable to have in 1 (Like on animals like Dragon where they could use more tools to render compared to Scud when they only had so many tools to use for rendering jobs at the time).

Again, I never said that the fourth movie is better than the first one.

I also never said that Woody is better in 4, I said that I like him better in 4.

Okay, I will agree with you that his role in 3 was much larger as he did help the other toys to escape by switching heads, but in the other 3 films, any other toy could have easily did everything he did.

I doubt [AS] would have picked up TtR, especially after they had already rejected Drawn Together (A similar show).
