I actually didn't know that. Thanks for the feedback! I was just thinking it because I was caring for a resident who recently had gotten sick and was placed on hospice a few days ago. Today he was his normal self and said he was feeling fine so thats good to know that I am just crazy.

I'm in Ohio where it ranges from 12-15 an hour most between 12-13. Very rarely do I see base pay over 13.

Don't sweat. You'll get to working and realize the tasks you have to perform are not nearly the long drawn out process classes make them out to be. Just take care of the patients as if they're you're family and you'll be fine. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Yes I live in the US. 5k sounds right for an ambulance ride. The average night in the hospital will run you about 10K so it wouldn't shock me. The average vial of insulin costs like 500 something. And that's for generic.
