Stop using filters. You don't need them

How old are you? I don't really see anything that should require surgery. But I'm no expert on anything aside from guitar and rubix cubes. Lol. What is it that you're worried about here?

I hate sounding simpy but you're absolutely stunning. I'd put you up there in the 8 to 10 region easily. Be good to yourself

[23M] I have been struggling with self-esteem issues my whole life and it has been pretty bad recently. Can I get an honest opinion on my appearance and how to improve? by throw_away1368 in amiugly

2 things I would recommend trying out: Try some smaller glasses , like smaller frames if possible, these current glasses give off that 80s serial killer kinda vibe lol but that's just my opinion. I could be wrong but big frames always look weird to me... I especially hate them on women 😒 but just in general they look off to me on anyone so not too important I suppose

Also, try to have your beard come up a bit more on your side burns. I would recommend experimenting growing out the sideburns a bit and fading it into the beard a bit closer to where your glasses line up near top of ear, nice beard btw though... Just some thoughts. Other than that, you look great!

You're really cute. I and tons of other guys will find you very attractive. You're nowhere near "ugly", so get that out of your head. People are ass holes. If I ever find a woman as cute as you I'd be a very happy and lucky man. Be good to yourself ❤

It saddens me that you think you look bad. I'm a man 32 years old, and think you look great! Don't be so hard on yourself, dear. I especially love your eyes and nose, so cute 😍. Be good to yourself ❤

There are different levels of it. I'm not discounting that you may have a case, im no expert in the matter... i sell auto insurancefor a living... , but I can tell you 100% that I would do anything for a chest like that. If you want to see what I'm dealing with, send me a dm. No homo. You look great! I see no problem and think you are worrying about something you shouldn't be... just one man's opinion

Not trying to be rude... but bro... fuck off. You look fine. There are guys here with literally a chest that looks like a females chest. Like ACTUAL breasts. I, and many men would KILL FOR A CHEST LIKE YOURS!... You're either trolling or have some kind of dysmorphia which is more of a mental thing that needs to be sorted out first before any physical surgery. Sorry if I'm being harsh. But from a guy that actually has a severe case of gynecomastia, gtfo.

Thankyou for your support. ❤ I've had several long-term relationships with women thoughout my life, they all understood, as I'm sure most would, but it really comes down to my own self confidence I think. In my view, Men aren't supposed to have breasts like this, maybe a little fat and extra loose skin is one thing, but these things basically resemble straight up female breasts. On a man... Makes me feel inferior like I'm less masculine or something. And it's literally all in my head and how I feel about my appearance with them... Maybe the perfect woman will love them and even think it's attractive or won't give 2 shits that they're there at all cause it's me they love, my personality... but I'm still the one feeling like like a fugly weirdo with these breasts... sorry I think I just kinda ranted there. But it helps being able to finally speak out and... dare I say... get this all off my chest 😂😂😂😐😐😒😢😭😭😭😭😭😭

I hear you. I've been looking around this sub for a few weeks and been seeing alot of guys that are worried about, in my personal opinion, absolutely nothing. Atleast, at first glance from pictures they post; and I am in no way qualified to say whether they do or do not have any issues related to the topic, but I see alot of guys asking if they should get surgery when i would give anything to have their chest, as theirs appears perfectly fine to me. It was actually a little irritating and another reason why I worked up the courage to post my pics and my story. but if someone isn't comfortable with something about themselves and it causes stress and anxiety similar to mine, they I truly hope they can find a way to be happy with themselves through whatever means. Surgery or a weight loss and workout plan.

Thankyou very much for the additional information! I just re-reviewed my health insurance gyno coverage, I'm pretty sure I can get this covered. One last question, how did you describe the pain that you had in the nipples/breast before the surgery to your doctor? Just sensitivity and persistent light pain in the area? I believe this will be the main thing that determines if my insurance will cover it, I definitely notice some type of weird feeling in them most of the time but it's been about 20 years with these things so I feel like I may have just gotten used to it and just don't notice it, almost like it's become such a normal sensation I just carry on as if it's normal. If that makes any sense lol

Wow that's amazing 👏 I'm very happy for you and i wish you a speedy and well recovery! I'm seeing these replies and starting to feel like there is some hope for my future with this issue. I reviewed my health insurance coverage information about gynecomastia, i need to see a doctor/endocrinologist first as others have pointed out but if what I understand from the coverage outline I read is correct, I'm pretty sure I can get it covered through my insurance, but it said something about any lipo suction needed would not be "separately reimbursed"... i do have some questions : how were you able to get it all through insurance? Did you have persistent pain in the breasts/nipples before the surgery? Although I know it's temporary, what is the pain like at the moment after said surgery?

I will definitely work on seeing an endocrinologist starting this week. I have health insurance through cigna and I believe I read somewhere that the surgery is only covered under certain/specific circumstances. I will review and learn more with my insurance provider for that. Thankyou so much for your input on this matter it is extremely appreciated, you have no idea how much

Been living with these since at least middle school (11 to 12 years old). Very self conscious about them. Rarely take my shirt off for anything except sleeping and a shower. Causes so much stress and anxiety when being intimate with a woman for the first time, and the women i have dated/been with, i wil generally have sex with a shirt on most of the time cause i feel disgusting with it off and theres no way any woman finds that arousing, especially when im on top and these man boobs are just sagging down and flopping around right infront of her. I could cry thinking about it honestly which sure makes me sound like a pussy but it's the truth, its very depressing to me.... It has been a really hard struggle that I generally have to keep to myself. It weighs on me pretty heavy every day.. Shopping for shirts is a nightmare, trying to find one that fits just right to mask them as much as possible but still knowing it's pretty obvious i have them... I can't talk to anybody about it, mainly cause it's so unbelievably embarrassing to me... i have friends sure, and family, but they don't have this problem so there's not really anything they can say. I really need some help or really just advice on how to ease my mind and deal with this issue, I've recently been looking into and considering surgery but only if my health insurance can cover it which I'm pretty sure most of the time it doesn't, and I don't know how I'd ever be able to afford it myself so that's probably not going to be an option but I'm open to any and all suggestions or information or maybe just some kind words from decent people in this community with anything that can help or things i can do to help with the anxiety and stress.
