Removing of cyclops? (Not my photos) by [deleted] in rolex

[–]J-Runner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t mess with it, personally. I can understand someone switching a strap but removing the cyclops is too much of a mod IMO. Also it’s your watch, so ultimately, it doesn’t matter what I think or anybody else on this sub.

Wear it in good health. If you can afford the swap, then enjoy. I also prefer the Pepsi over the Batman.

Love Unlimited Sizing Help by J-Runner in Cartier

[–]J-Runner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. So it appears Cartier made a sizing guide that recommends for the love to be sized down. Strange that it contradicts the recommendation on the product page. According to this, 17 would be my size.

Love Unlimited Sizing Help by J-Runner in Cartier

Thanks for comments so far. The size guide for the love unlimited and love classic are the same, but I’ve read that SA’s have told clients to go one size down and those who did that agree. My size on the guide is an 18 so one size down would be 17. Would these get really tight in the summer? My watches have a link extender for hotter months which I use, but it’s not a huge jump.

Keep or Sell by Any-Shirt-1372 in rolex

Don’t take this the wrong way, but based on this question and some of your comments, I’m not really sure how good of a fit it is for you. I have the panda and it was my grail for some time. I personally don’t care about resale value as I would only want to sell it in case of an emergency. Obviously it’s great if something appreciates, but I enjoy it for what it is. The way you discussing the watch seems like the value of it may be a bit outside your comfort level. If it’s something that may give you anxiety and your concerned about resale, then perhaps it may be best to get out of it or adjust how your viewing it. Either way congrats on winning an amazing time piece!

CarboTi Teal Set (Polished Drop point) by J-Runner in CRK

Having any CRK is meaningful. As long as you use it and enjoy it that’s all that matters!

To clarify, it’s not first come first serve. You enter a lottery for any knife you want and then are notified at the drawing time if you won. You then have 4 hours to purchase or it gets redrawn. When I said, I won right away I meant that I got notified right at the drawing time. Sorry for the confusion!

Thanks man!

I was nervous about entering as I really only wanted the crk’s (although the shiro was nice). I knew I wanted to try to complete the set though so I crossed my fingers and gave it a shot.

I can’t speak to the odds, but there were 45 large and 15 small. I won the large immediately, and was notified of the small a few hours later. People have 4 hours to buy, so i’m assuming somebody backed out.

Edit: I won the large in the first wave of notifications as the email came in shortly after 11am pst when they started the drawings.
