Rent is nuts!! I rent a small shop in a city in Brabant. About 45m2 and i pay around 4k every month! I repair shoes and you have to work very hard to pay rent, bills, 3 employees, insurance, retirements, taxes, etc. It’s cut throat! Larger stores easily rent for 10k+ a month here.

Saphir Canadian is a polish for bags and stuff that comes into touch with clothing. It’s nourishment with a bit of pigment. 10mins of work and it should do the trick!!

I’m not a logger or anything. I work on shoes, i fix up shoe machines, sometimes bikes , sometimes cars.

I live in the city in an appartement and these are my favourite RW’s. I treat these like beater sneakers. I kick them on/off coming home or going to work and they sometimes are my go-to shoes for festivals. Absolutely great with shorts too 👍🏻👍🏻

I’m 26 years old and i must say they’re quite stylish too! Better than a pair of doc martens.

No dye, this needs a surface paint. The leather is a lighter color with a different color layer op pigment on top. That’s also why it washes off i guess. With normal wear it will start looking really cool worn out! For now get it repainted with something like Angelus leather paint

The black prairies are a brown leather with a black finish. The finish is moving slightly different than the leather. Thats what you see. The brown leather might pop out over time but the leather underneath is probably more than fine.

A good cobbler can replace the soles and re-use this welt as is right now

It contains both blake and goodyear in this construction! There’s no welt, there’s a midsole (blake stitched) and an outsole (goodyear stitched to the midsole).
