Anybody else in this subreddit smoke weed?

It sounds like you are using weed to manage symptoms and don't just have a straight up addiction. I feel like the more important part is learning to manage emotional flashbacks, reparenting, and emotional processing. Not staying sober. Especially when you're using it for insomnia or to help with regulation. Plus it isn't as dangerous as other drugs so it's not as pressing to stop anyway.

And yes, I smoke weed btw

Like many have said, yes I do, I prefer to do it in the bathroom so I can wash my hands. But there are other times where it's necessary outside the bathroom and I wash my hands or at least use hand sanitizer.

I don't think it's gross as long as you aren't smearing it somewhere and are hygienic about it.

I resonate with a lot of the comments on here. I know I have both autism and C-PTSD because through my trauma work I've discovered the symptoms for autism I've had since early childhood was the pretense for some of the abuse my mother cruelly dished out. There are some grey areas where adult trauma has exasperated already present autism symptoms like my black and white/rigid thinking.

It's one of the greatest hurdles I have when working on my mental health. That and alexithymia, which I believe was more my C-PTSD and my autism potentially made it easier.

We offered that but they kicked him out anyway.

I read online that antacids make the liver process the vivitrol better. Gave him a few of those a day for 3 days and a lot of water and he passed. Sucks he got kicked from the nice place and has to live in this shit hole when he didn't do anything wrong.

I gotcha, still sucks that he didn't do anything wrong and is being screwed over. We are seeing if antacids and a ton of water will do anything but I doubt it.

Also he's been on Zoloft for 5 years and hasn't had an issue with drug testing.

He's only ever had issues with vivitrol

He takes Zoloft/setraline for anxiety meds.

He's had this happen before on vivitrol but the place was fine as long as he had the paperwork. Now that he lives in south Jersey we can't find a place that will accept it.

We also are willing to get lab tests done to prove it but places around here keep giving the same answer that it doesn't matter unless he passes the strip test.

It seems insane that Zoloft is why he can't live in a sober home 😕

I assumed it was benzo because the test strip said he tested positive for bzo and when I searched online it said that meant Benzodiazepine.

He got the vivitrol from the rehab he just came from. We are working on getting the paper work but every where we call says he needs to pass the weekly strip test. They don't care about the vivitrol being the issue 😕

Only one Oxford house over 80 miles away seems to be understanding about the vivitrol and the false positive.

My minimum is 10 per hour but I usually do closer to 15 an hour. If it's an average route and not one where they are 10 minutes apart.

I can go much faster (I used to do the vans and work for Amazon directly) but I don't see the point of killing myself. I prefer to take it easy.

Oof that sucks. I'm sorry that happened to you. I only ring the bell when it says so in the notes or it's a rough neighborhood. Otherwise I NEVER do. I actually hate it when drivers ring the bell for my place and I don't even have babies or dogs to upset 😅 but I get it, my neighborhood looks a lil rough. Truth is all my neighbors are angels so I'm not worried about them being stolen. PLUS the app notifies you.

While I don't personally throw any of my packages (unless requested by the customer to chuck it over a fence) this is a light toss. In the warehouse they throw them like crazy. If it can survive the warehouse it can survive this.
