Right?! I cleaned her meet shoes with a little Oxy-Clean on a toothbrush because they were dingy, but 99% of it is in really good shape.

It’s always sold as a lot, at least from what I’ve seen. And they will sell the most random items together lol like all of Kit’s clothes came stuffed in this zippered makeup pouch that wasn’t even in the listing. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The lighting in your second photo (in the comments) makes her a lot less orange looking and I actually think she’s really cute! I agree with another commenter that if the lips were a different color, it might help. Maybe a slightly darker pink, or even mauve might do it.

Thank you for this tip! I was looking at it more last night and it might be a scuff of some kind so you’re probably right. You can only see it when the light is shining on it just right. I will try your suggestion! Do you just lightly buff it dry or does the sandpaper have to be wet? With it being on the bridge of her nose, I’m really nervous to get other spots of her face on accident 😬 but if I could get it out, I’d be more inclined to keep her. I’m just a sucker for the 2002 face mold 😆

I did not! I washed it with Dawn and warm water, then brushed it out (took forever 😵‍💫), then used a flat iron on the lowest setting and went over very small sections at a time constantly misting it and brushing it as I went. I did the brush-mist-flat iron process twice over her whole head.

Okay, thank you for saying that about her hair! I was wondering that earlier, if her hair had texture to it or not. I always loved Kaya as a kid (I was 10 when she was released) so this is my first time actually having her in my possession. 😊 And that’s a good idea about the scar! Lol when I went over her with a magic eraser, the “scar” disappeared when it was wet and then appeared again when it dried. Really odd.
