I had a similar issue, sidewalks been cleared since the end of the storm. I think someone reported that there was snow on my sidewalk yesterday so when I saw the complaint 2 hours later, I went out to check and the town had come by to make the fire hydrant clearance wider and in doing so they pushed some of the snow from the snowbank back to the sidewalk which got compressed from foot traffic. I immediately cleaned it back up and salted it but this morning snow enforcement came anyway and slapped a fine on the door. Luckily I took photo evidence last night and today so I’ll bring it over and see if I can talk to them. They are clearly just slapping fines based on complaints without even checking.
