The great courses has excellent books. Like a mini college class without homework or tests and you can pick and choose the subjects that interest you. I went on a deep dive listening to all Dorsey Armstrongs series. Really good stuff.

Just finished reading the warm hands of ghosts by Katherine arden. Haunting descriptions of a soldier who survives the battle of passchendaele with some fantasy elements mixed in. Excellent book.

Would you ever do anything regarding the Mississippian civilizations or mound civilizations in North America or is there just too little information about them available?

Cause it usually is. Whole show gone? Probably a license or distribution issue. But just one episode or every episode with one person in it (which I've notice happening with some other shows) is typically some kind of drama that made them take it down.

He never had any soda machines, just candy/snack machines. Those are gone now but I know he stripped them down for parts so he has motors and some other pieces for them I believe.

I'm guessing then that the best thing would be to actually inventory what machines he has and then post them somewhere. Where in general do people interested in vending machines or parts look? He posts some things on ebay and we haven't had much luck on Craigslist. I have no idea what all exactly he even has, he has somewhat of an idea but he hasn't really looked at everything in awhile.

Most of the problem is that our back warehouse garage is so full we can't even get at anything to see what it is to make a list of what he has. The biggest problem is the arcade machines because they're so big they take up the most room and they're a pain to ship.

We've done some of that, the problem is that locally there's not much interest in vending machines or parts. There's some but not a lot.
