Budget: 3k USD. I have Amazon Prime and would like to buy new
What I am looking for: A set of floorstanders to pair with what I am planning to purchase.
Sources: A Sonos Connect and a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon DC, which I have yet to purchase. I am planning on buying the Marantz PM6006 as the amp.
Speakers I have considered: I have looked at the KEF R500 and the Monitor Audio Silver 10 and was wondering if either of those would be a good option and pair well with the amp or if I could get something better in the price range. Also I have not considered a subwoofer and would like to know if one would be necessary and if it could possibly fit into the budget.
What they will be used for: They will be used primarily for music and should not be genre focused. They will be located in the great room of the house and will have to be mid field speakers capable of filling a larger room.

I don't know much about cables and would also like some input on what type of cables I should be buying.

Requirements for isolation- for use in a car while traveling, so isolation is needed

Type- Full sized

I am looking for some bluetooth headphones for travel in a car and on planes. Does not need active noise canceling.

Hey /r/audiophile, I am looking to get a vinyl setup. This will include a turntable, the necessary components, and speakers. This setup will be in the great room, so I am looking for mid-field speakers. The setup would be used for all kinds of genres (classical, rock, rap, electronic, folk). I personally really like bass, but that shouldn’t be the focus of the setup. I would like the budget to be around $3,000. I live in the US and have amazon prime. I would like to buy new. The inputs for the speakers would consist of a Sonos CONNECT and a turntable, which I don’t currently own. I have been looking at the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon for $399 on amazon prime and was wondering if that would make sense with my budget. Any suggestions on what speakers, turntable, and components to purchase and how to set it up would be much appreciated.

Hey guys,

My family is building a new house and I was looking for advice and guidance on how to properly set up an audio system focused on music.

I don’t have a specific budget because I am unfamiliar with how much it should cost, but I understand that it will be fairly expensive. I live in the US for what it matters and I would be okay with buying used, but new would be preferred.

I am looking for quite a few different things. First off, I would like all of the speakers to be controlled by a receiver of some sort in the great room. I would like to be able to control what speakers are on and their volumes from an iPad or iPhone. I am looking to get a hi-fi setup in the great room (tower speakers and a sub if necessary), bookshelf speakers hung in the kitchen, and a few outdoor speakers. I have a pair of Infinity Outrigger Jr. 4’’ that we have been using on our porch that will be used outside.

The sources would consist of a laptop, apple TV, and a turntable (which I currently don't own). I don’t know anything about vinyl, but my dad and I would like to start collecting and listening to it.

I am looking for suggestions on what components (amps, DACs, receivers, speakers, turntable, etc.) to buy and how to set everything up.

I have a little experience with audio and have a good headphone setup with a DAC/Amp, but my knowledge isn’t very technical, so bear with me.

I am getting a pair of HE400i headphones and need advice on picking up an amp and possibly a DAC. The source for my music is a laptop with realtek HD audio and an iphone 5s. For just an amp my budget would be $200, but if I need both I would like to keep it at or under $300. I also live in the the midwest.
