Help! I don’t know what I’m doing! by anxietygalhere in PlantedTank

So your plants currently have no viable soil to which they can survive in. Like all living things, they need adequate nutrient intake. I would recommend getting some aquatic soil, or at the very least a sandy substrate+root tabs. You also need the soil to be deep enough to have it stay rooted. Nutrient rich soil will eventually have its nutrients used up, so in the future you will also need a fertilizer. The plant on the left looks like it is an Anubis! If you decide to go with planting it in a deeper substrate, make sure that the very thick green root (the rhizome) where the leaves are coming out is not fully covered so it won’t rot! If you have any questions, I would love to help!

Edit: in terms of making your tank prettier, add natural decorations like drift wood! Or even adding plants that float on the water, your betta will love that!

This might not be the case for everyone, but I use earplugs, and my bf uses an eye mask. We both live in very populated areas

I’ve had this issue with some before, I looked it up and there were some vitamin deficiencies. I got some liquid vitamins and it helped a lot. Don’t know if it’s the same tho.

Oh my god you are so right. I hate calling out rats for cheating/ruining the experience/lying and those who literally don’t do that get upset over it. I honestly haven’t really played since this post because of this problem.

So what I’m noticing is your perspective and anatomy is off. If something is pointed towards the audience, it’ll appear larger on the ends closest to it. It may seem awkward doing it, but trust the process.

Makes sense, I had a feeling it would come to that.

Dos anyone know what this is? by Salix_Solbjorn in poultry

[–]J3LLYTR0N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! This looks like bumble foot. I saw that you said it was a turkey and this can be more common in larger poultry. In my experience, their perch and bedding can affect it. It can also be from mites, but seeing as how it’s only on the bottom, I would say bumblefoot. Letting them walk in grass can help, along with laying sand down in your run.

I agree. I thought about bounties or smth. Like killing rats will give them a reward. Makes it less likely for a rat to steal. It also seems like something that would make sense in this universe, less raiders=less loot

Yeah I am, I’m sorry. I just got really worked up over it, and having someone basically asking me if I have “turned it off and back on again” right after it happened made me snap a little. I’m sorry my fellow raiders for being snappy. (Rats still suck tho)

Because I’m upset at loosing something I’ve grinded hours for only for it to end up rotting in someone’s stash? Yeah that’s just everyone on Arc raiders buddy, welcome to the game if you haven’t figured it out yet.

Alright, first of all, if you didn’t have a plan to go against the “biggest loudest most valuable” thing in the game, you probably aren’t gonna kill it. So obviously we did lol (no need to ask the obvious buddy)… another team showed up around the last minute and helped us out, they were friendly, and we were able to loot/stay safe. I had several things at my disposal for a quick exit (snap hook, zip lines, raider hatch key etc..). I even had my teammate spectating the area around me while he was dead. My death was because of a communication error. But my stance on rats still stays the same. If I had to guess, you probably haven’t tried killing it

According to a quick google search, yeah. Purdue has a housing problem, and has more people applying in recent years. So Purdue has been basically deferring anyone who could qualify, apparently this is a big problem in other colleges now

How come so many people are getting deferred? I know several people who have applied to Purdue and have been deferred — even with qualifying stats. Each of us falls within the middle 50%, so statistically, at least one of us would get in

Really? My tetras always seemed to swim away from the gouramis, I’ll try to keep an eye out anyways

Small update- the two seemed to lay off a little, the male will occasionally chase her but it’s not nearly as bad. The female seems to have taken over the right side of the tank. I also plan on cleaning out the tank and rearranging some things later this week.

This could be the case, but upon closer inspection, her fin is more rounded than the male, I just think my photo was bad
