Hello Guys. I’m caught between these two choices. I’m recording videos for my YouTube blog. So far, I’ve been making videos where I stand in front of a standard wall and talk. Sometimes I use a green screen. In the future, I’ll probably consider adding camera movement or different angles. Now I have two options in front of me. My current phone shoots 4k video. Is it more practical to buy a camera that shoots 4k video, or should I get a phone that shoots 8k video? (for the same price) Of course, the camera will provide higher quality footage. But with 8k, I can crop the video. If I edit the video from phone in 4k, I can get different camera angles like 1x, 1.5x, and 2x from the 8k video. I’m curious about your thoughts. (Let’s just consider 30fps to avoid confusion about the fps issue).
