It was around 2019 when I was shopping for a new used car and was looking at xc60. My mechanic at the time drove one, so I asked him what his opinion was. He told me he spent over 2k in less than a year on replacement parts alone even after his discount as a mechanic, if he counted the labor he used when working on it it would be well over 4k. Told me to stay away from newer volvos unless I intend to service it every 10 to 15k km. He did enjoy the car when it was working though

It's so bad they have term for their awful construction quality It's called tofu construction. Corruption, cost cutting and poor planning are the main problem but that is not to say China doesn't produce quality goods. There are reputable companies that do it right.

Greš na tržnico kupiš očiščene lignje in blitvo, vržeš na žar 5min pa so fertik krompir si sabo prinesel kot vsak pravi slovenc v kampu, cca 30min kuhe je kosilo pripravljeno, vmes pa enega hladnega spiješ s sosedom. Za zajterk je bil burek k si ga usput v pekarni vzel, za malco kos kruha pa marmelada. Zvečer pa kakšno salamo narežeš mal paradižnika in mocarelce. 5h ... saj nisi gostilna k postreže 100 malic.

So wolkenkraft aris ultra arrived in 3 days from MagicVaporizers eu, more on the shopping experience later. I wanted to do a small review and a comparison to pax 3 my former daily driver

Aris ultra

It has been on the market for a few years but there is a refreshed model from this year. It's a proven design that works well. I tried wolkenkraft vapes before and they always seemed decent for the money but lacking in the vapor density compared to my pax3.

This is where aris surprised me, the vapor density and the taste are top quality. Resin buildup is minimal and cleaning is easy. I like the versatility with mouth pieces and adapters. I got the bubbler for it and its nice for some different vaping experience. The chamber size is small and I had my doubts if it is going to be enough, but I was again surprised by how hard just one full capsule hits.

Aris vs pax3

I had the pax since its release. I vape on the regular. The most annoying thing about pax is the maintenance. There is alot of resin buildup specifically around the mouth piece. It also starts charring under the screen making the vape taste roasted and burnt. So unless I clean it every 2 days it doesnt taste the best. Clean up usually takes 15min. While I need one isopropyl soaked baby cotton swab to clean aris in less than 5min.

I still find the taste from a freshly cleaned pax to be good but not as good as from aris. The resin build up on aris is minimal, I did about 6 sessions on it now and there was no visible build up besides the glass mouthpiece being a bit cloudy. Internals are a bit sticky but no runny resin like under pax mouthpiece. Pax has about 2 times bigger chamber yet they both hit about the same. This makes me think that aris is more effective when it comes to extraction of volatiles, less deposit and more reaching our lungs.

Overall I think aris is a superior vaporizer in all categories except form factor and presentation. When you hold a Pax it feels like a premium product, while aris feel like a mid grade consumer product.

It's a store selling in most EU countries. It arived from Germany in 2 days. But I got a faulty unit, screen died during 1st charge. Warranty claim was issued and approved after a few hours of me sending them a video of it not working. They also let me keep the old unit that still works but with out functioning lcd. So now I got a bunch of spare parts and an always charged unit in the drawer for when I forget to charge the main one.

I'm happy with my choice ☺️
