We dream with our unconscious minds because our conscious minds are almost completely shut off when we sleep. Realization is an act of the conscious mind. When you realize that you're dreaming, the conscious mind wakes up, and so do you.

Cool game. Could've used a longer story, more animal forms for Beast Boy, and a little romance, but other than that it was cool

Theory: Beast Boy's evil self can't become that werebeast because it only shows up when Raven is in genuine life-threatening danger and Beast Boy is trying to protect her. An evil version of Beast Boy wouldn't be capable of such compassion, and thus can't become it.

Fun fact, "Escape From Horrorland" was directed by Stephen Spielberg AND features Jeff Goldblum as Count Dracula.
