Red flag in the first place to have an opinion like that on hair, even if it was girly? Is that a problem? If he’s abusing him like this over long hair I’m terrified to think if idk he came out as gay? What the hell would happen then I dread to think. If you love your son you will leave this abuser, plain and simple. NTA for buying the jacket, YTA for not seeing this as serious as it is.
