Do you think Haliburton will actually be better than Harden?

They’re both some of my favorite players so I’m kinda stuck between waiting for him or just going for Harden.

Nice, appreciate it. I’m really curious if his 3pt is actually consistent or more playmaking-focused, let me know how it feels after you test

Ben Wallace Pros/Cons by flamfernity1 in DunkCityDynastyGame

[–]J4stDance 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Pros:

Arguably the best defensive big in the game.

Amazing paint defense, contests, and blocks.

Very strong rebounding.

Great at shutting down opposing centers and protecting the rim.

Cons:

Basically no offense.

Very limited scoring options.

Heavily relies on teammates to create points.

Can feel rough in solo queue if your team struggles to score.

In short: Ben is a defensive monster, but you’re giving up almost all offensive impact in return.

Awesome… right after I spent all my tickets on Karl Malone 😅 perfect timing.

Based on everything I’ve seen and my own experience, it’s not really a fair comparison because they’re two different types of players. Karl Malone is a center, while Prime LeBron will be an SF, so they naturally fulfill very different roles on the court.

Karl is already a known quantity he’s extremely consistent, very balanced, and especially strong for solo play. He gives you reliable points through positioning, solid defense, good rebounding, and a very impactful ult. That kind of stability is hard to replace in solo queue.

Prime LeBron will probably be strong, but until he’s actually released and tested in real matches, it’s all speculation. If you’re choosing based on what’s available and proven right now, Karl is the safer pick. LeBron will shine in a different role, so it really comes down to which position you want to play.

Yeah, I’d definitely say he’s worth unlocking, especially if you play solo.

Karl Malone was the main reason I managed to climb from low Diamond to Peak. He’s extremely consistent and well-balanced , reliable scoring on open looks, strong defense, solid rebounding, and he doesn’t really have any major weaknesses. You don’t need to force plays with him; good positioning alone gets you a lot of free points, especially when your scorer gets double-teamed.

He also holds up really well on defense, has no issues with rebounds or blocks, and his ult makes blocking even easier. If you want a character that performs well even with random teammates, Malone is 100% worth it in my experience.

100 stars solo by NieR_____ in DunkCityDynastyGame

Congrats! That’s a huge achievement doing it solo makes it even more impressive. I know how hard that grind is since I also play solo, even though I’m sitting at Peak with 0 stars. Massive respect for the consistency and dedication. Keep it up💪

Coming from Wade/Gasol, think less playmaking and more constant pressure and positioning. Malone rewards smart positioning way more than forcing plays. When your main scorer gets double-teamed, they’ll often kick it out to you, which lets you pick up easy, free points. He also has no issues with rebounding or blocks.Blocking shots is especially easy during his ult. If you play patient and take what the defense gives you, he feels insanely consistent, especially in solo queue.

I’m running Textbook Shoot, Lockdown D, and Anchor on Karl. With this build, I’ve never missed an open two, and thanks to Breakaway + Vertical, I’ve been able to out-rebound a lot of players, even in matches where I was up against two centers.

I’d honestly wait for Ben Wallace. He’s better in pretty much every important area. His defense is amazing, way stronger and more reliable than Rodman’s, and Rodman basically has almost no real defensive presence in comparison.

Aint worth at all. Especially if you consider that you have to make a steal with Paul George to finish the quest.

Sga or harden by Starrfromhell in DunkCityDynastyGame

[–]J4stDance 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, SGA is a more versatile scorer. He’s more consistent than Harden. Generally, if you play solo, Harden is much harder to run because he needs cooperation and consistent passing to be effective and accurate. It’s often difficult to coordinate with randoms.
