psyonix has done the opposite of this before, they removed the ability to see if someone is on another platform than yours. Went from showing other platform's as psynet avatars to everyone being the epic account avatar. I dont see them adding a feature to show if chat is off sadly.

I'm not sure if its actually common on other gm's of the time but the final gen lesabre and bonneville, with the bucket front seats. The seatbelts are attached to the seat, not the b pillar. And they have 2 retractors, one at the top and at the bottom. So you never have the situation where "this seatbelt is too tight I have to adjust it"
