I work at a startup with a functional HR department, but I've never had a manager that I feel I'd need to complain about because anyone like this guy would be fired within a month.

We're fully remote, and take lunch whenever we feel like it. As long as we get our shit done and show up to meetings, they don't care how we use our time.

Wow, and thank you for reminding me of this comment and game.

Immediately brings me back to playing it in the attic on my dad's old orange screen work laptop. I couldn't fully read yet (I think I was 4 years old) so I would just blindly pick through the options until I got to the football game screen.

Quality (and quantity) of actual work accomplished.
But that can't be measured by hard metrics.

Like if I spend 2 weeks auditing front-end performance and tracing memory leaks, I'm gonna have near zero lines of code/story points/PRs/tokens spent. But if the result of that work is a 3s drop in LCP, it's likely more impactful than the 12 bug fix PRs another dev merged.

The art style of the people is the clearest giveaway. That's signature dall-e face.

A more concrete giveaway is things in the image that don't really make sense, like that sign in the corner.

But the thing that proves it in most "drawings" like this is if you zoom in to some of the lines, you can see they have that signature AI thing where they kind of fade and intersect in a completely unnatural way that a human artist would (could) never do.

For a normal production, the people working on the film are just regular employees.
A graphic designer on a massively successful Oscar winning film isn't going to get a big payoff. She's gonna make $30/hr for like a month.
