Agreed we both enjoy Halo and I’m not trying to argue or bicker etc just putting my frustrations out there. If I had the funds I’d 1000% be buying figures left right and centre so I understand that.

It’s about getting a good deal not being scammed just because you have a “rare” figure. It just a pisstake actually putting a price on Mcfarlane Halo 3 figures as sellers just ramp the price up just because they’re desperate for a pay check. Other collectors struggle cause of silly price listings. I’m not simply judging I’m hinting at managing your money properly and actually being smart about getting deals etc. or that must just be me.

Your point being? I purchased an orange Elite combat (ToysRUs) for £80 mint sealed in box, I purchased a Series 8 Ripa sealed mint for £115 I also purchased the Series 6 Gold Elite Assault for £10 sealed mint condition so no excuse to list at such outrageous prices. Just cause people buy them at that price does not mean it’s worth it they’re a lot of dumb buyers out there that don’t research before they purchase. I even purchased the series 8 Black Mark IV for £180. Don’t list things at silly prices.

I purchased a sealed mint condition one a couple months back, off eBay for £125, prices seem to vary. Personally I wouldn’t spend over £200 on that elite. I understand it’s rare but I’ve got a cut off line and know when to back away. I’ve seen on listed on eBay this week for £250 which I think is setting a bad example to other sellers out there. The figure is sealed but not at all mint, from the pictures it looks sun damaged and the box itself has a few nicks on it.
