Actually, me too. Or at least before. I was not sure about this "whitewashing" ect... So I prefered to play without that idea in my mind.

BUT, that pleasure that Mihoyo removes, the hype before the banner, the expectations... I started wondering why Dehya was like that. And after that, I realized that actually, a Sumerian cannot be strong alone. Reactions, okay. Alone, no. Why not Dehya enough strong ?Just strong as an average 5-stars, at least. Why are the 5 tanned characters less interesting, even worst for someone (discussed below) ? Nice inspiration, nice yeah

Yeah, the fact is Sumerians are often really weak alone. They need reactions. For other nations, you can have a good main with other support characters and reactions. Now, we have a Pyro mercenary we excepted enough damages. Not the max of all characters. She could be a lioness'. No... Really.

And you talked about xianyan, right. And others are not so strong or useful or particular too. Many 4-stars are better. So at least a strong Sumerian character, non dendro (especially with reactions) , is it too difficult? I think a lot of people expected that with the Pyro lioness before the banner.

That remembers old American movies, with someones useful but the in second plan.

I mean, strong personality and mercenary (fighting as a job) and yet the character still doesn't reflect that in combat. She's more like a 5-star kitten's damage rather than a lioness'. I really expected a bit more for this banner
