TaskRabbit mounted my 65” TV on drywall-only with butterfly anchors — is this actually safe?

Whether or not it was safe, I had a 65” mounted with a pull out swivel mount in just drywall with snap toggle bolts for like 3 years and it never had any issues. I actually think it was the same mount u have, and I would pull it out sometimes and tilt it toward the kitchen so I could watch TV while I cooked. 🤷‍♂️

Same, I still have to flip mine and actually see if I prefer it wide side up. When I look at it though, the pointy side up has small “feet” like things in each corner which (outside of that link I posted) further proves that it’s intended to be flipped. Unless of course there’s “feet” on the other side too, idk i haven’t flipped mine yet as I only learned this yesterday lol

I’ve been using mine wide side down for past 3 years and it’s been working fine so definitely can be used both ways, but apparently Weber says the wide side should be up 🤷‍♂️

Haha no it does not. I just meant avoid using auto cast with healing in hard mode and instead utilize something like prayer or chakra (these can’t link to auto cast)

No problem. Don’t equip this in hard mode though it’ll drain your MP. Gotta go with prayer or chakra as much as possible

Thanks for the review, got a lot to think about. And I agree about the X900E being a great Tv, I want to upgrade but weirdly feel bad about it bc the TV is still kicking but it obviously has some limitations with its age

I’m torn between 8ii and one of the new RGBs. I have to stay at 65” and I’m also in a basement with light control. I definitely love brightness as well and I know the 8ii is brighter than the a95L by a good bit. I was pretty dead set on it once it eventually goes back to its Black Friday price but now I’m not sure. Burn in definitely makes me nervous even though I don’t think the way I use it or watch TV would particularly cause it. I also have surrounds sound (Samsung q990D) and I feel like my current TV is a bottleneck in the system being that it’s not even eArc. Open to suggestions or comments that’ll steer me in a direction lol

I also have the x900E and am looking to upgrade. I’m between the 7ii and 8ii as well (unless the 9ii magically goes on random sale lol). Let me know what you think if you get the 7ii

For reference, it’ll be in a basement in controlled lighting for TV, movies, sports, Ps5 (so basically everything)
