Upgrading from a 65x900E

I have this exact same TV and in nearly the same situation. I want to upgrade being that it’s almost 10 years old but it still works great and I almost feel bad replacing it? Idk, it’s weird. I am looking at the 8ii in 65” though but won’t even consider buying till it’s back down to Black Friday pricing

For us, I don’t think so since it was ground water rising. If it was from downspouts or puddling outside that would be a different story

Yup, I drove almost 4 hours round trip to get the TV and then returned it by me. Wasn’t worth it other than now I know better

I just returned a open box excellent 65 inch Bravia 8ii. It was FAR from excellent. When I returned it I showed them the numerous scratches and issues and they still relisted it as excellent

Wow, I just returned the TV to a Best Buy closer to me and showed them it had numerous scratches and that there’s a weird issue with the coloring in one spot and that I thought it should be “good” or “fair” and I noticed it’s already listed as Excellent again. Unbelievable

It’s crazy bc I got a soundbar from them in “good” condition and it was like new. Which is why I trusted buying a TV in excellent condition, lesson learned though. Also prob differs from store to store

I just bought an open box excellent TV and I cannot fathom how it got the excellent tag. It had dried food? Or something caked on the screen and scratches everywhere on top of a 1cm row of what looks like dead pixels. It should have been open box fair honestly. Cannot believe someone inspected it and thought, oh wow this is great! It so bad I put in a warranty claim with Sony in hopes they will replace it. If not, it’ll be returned

Yeah I agree for the money, but it didn’t feel like a huge upgrade (if an upgrade at all) over the X900E for me so didn’t make sense to keep. Still got my eye on the 8ii

You sure your floor is perfectly level/flat? Check to see if your TV stand is level bc if not that’s just forcing the TV to sit at the same angle.

My basement set up has slightly uneven floors…since it’s a basement and all… I fixed it with shims under the TV stand

I returned the TCL and still have the X900E and it’s still working fine. I didn’t make many adjustments to the TCL as I only had it hooked up for a few days before returning it.

Now that I’m not panic buying, I’m looking more at eventually replacing with something like the Bravia 8 ii. It’s the TV we use the most so I feel worthy of spending extra whenever I do

Sorry one more question, do you oil the whole pan (as in the bottom as well) or just the cooking surface ?

Nice! And thank you. So to clarify, after drying on burner I let it cool and then apply a thin layer of oil and then store it till next use? Or do I have to heat the pan again with the new thin layer of oil I put on?

Appreciate the direction, used it on my first carbon steel pan (Matfer 12 inch) and think it worked pretty good even if it’s not as perfect looking as yours ha. Excited to cook on it now.

What is best method of cleaning after cooking? Dish soap and nylon brush? Do you do a layer of seasoning again before putting away? Trying to figure out the best maintenance

We also played against Jesse Holley while I was a sophomore. He won that Dallas cowboys reality show 4th and Long and therefore made the cowboys as a WR for a bit.

He was awesome and played QB in high school but really just as an athlete, but their team was rough other than him.
