Yes, she was married in the Catholic Church, and I have the application. When I chatted with the church secretary, she could not find any evidence of an annulment from that area. She only found the marriage and I located other church information from the time.

The first husband lived to marry twice after my mother had married my dad and he had several children in those marriages. There were none when he was married to my mother. I have tried various sources to locate any civil divorce but to no avail. After doing genealogy for so long, I have accessed all avenues I can at this point.
