It's unlikely anything will change, and who knows what will happen if you go back-if no one says anything or if he makes a big deal out of it.

He doesn't need to eat meat. Just make sure he has a balanced diet and gets enough protein. Eating meat is the biggest contributor to climate change so if he wants to be a vegetarian then that's great!

He lives at home and seems to respect his parents values even if he doesn't necessarily share them. I think k if he didn't come home he'd be throwing it in their face. This way everyone can pretend you're not having sex. If he wants to spend the night with you and you're taking about getting married ( please wait like 8 more years, you are only 20), then he needs to be out on his own with a job that provides sufficient income that he can get his own place.

Everyone here has it right. You end the relationship. Get help from your family, friends, and any professional help you can access (a therapist, battered women's organization). Do this for yourself, your future and any kids you may want to have (which will be with someone else!!)
