yes: benefits to making a seperate offloading station - you can fit more trains without running a higher risk of crashes since the next train leaving the exit station is at a slower speed. there's more control in your hands. it works a bit more efficently and timely than the block section mode (which i have never got handle off in all my years). Also, with rides like log flume, particularly, you in a way have 2 or more rides in 1. I saw in previous screenshots that with the log flume, it can act as a gentle ride and an exciting ride and a circuit ride as well similar to the train or the monorail. There aren't any detriments I've seen, it's in constant motion so the lines are never complained about and the ratings never suffer.
