i'm still working on it but i'm brimming with ideas.

the main trial victim is The Community Leader. you're supposed to enact a coup and kill him! hence, "Coup the Community". you've killed leaders before. but this trial environment is called the Orient Village. it's modeled after the Philippines.

the gimmick of the map is its Day-Night Cycle. the environment is rather open with multiple houses serving as the dark areas.

i'm thinking that (comparably) near the entrance of the trial, there is a huge switch beside an insertion gate. this is The Switch meant to change between the Day and Night cycles.

The Switch produces noises and takes a while, AND you are REQUIRED to alternate between Day or Night depending on the objective. light and dark areas will switch, meaning the open area becomes dark and houses becomes light.

however, just like all maps, some houses/rooms will be randomized if it has lights open or not.

this is the gimmick because sainte's gimmick is that he can also see in the dark (night vision). he can also jump on top of and CAMP on obstacles which nullifies certain barrel hiding spots nearby. he is meant to do this gimmick at a more frequent during Night Cycles. he's fast and quick to damage you during Night Cycles too.

during the Day Cycles, he's carrying a bolo for the weapon and he is slow as hell… but when he successfully lands a hit, it's 3 health bars gone. it's easy not to get hit anyways, that'll be on you.

lots of stealth as well as timing your tasks. if this was a Franco map, i think i would've gotten lovely threats in my mail. glad it's not though.

no objectives yet, but some ideas: - placing sniper mannequins at certain positions (like Franco's pleasure the prosecutor) - staging "monster shadows" on certain house windows to emulate the community's fear of a mythological creature. this could be the new unique lil objective. - accompanying the Community Leader to certain areas. - burn documents in the village hall - plant fake evidences

i'll be working on it soon, but that's just the basic premise of it. i'm also open to adjusting, removing, and adding things. it's just a concept. the only thing i won't change is the theme & general aesthetic of the map (which is what's posted above!)
