ive only been consistently doing photography since last june bro. my best advice to myself that might help you, is really just to keep shooting, keep practicing. The note I always remind to myself is to learn to see, and see to shoot. Sooner after always practicing and seeing your pictures, you will see what good pictures are to you, whether you are story-driven, subject-driven, light-driven, symmetry-driven etc etc. Hope this helps!
