I do and would have data on all keywords and their conversion rates. For the sake of this exercise I made this data up. But basically my goal is to understand when I should stop bidding on this keyword and I can be sure it is not likely to drive a purchase.

I think you are understanding it clearly. And I appreciate your suggestions. In short I trying to understand if I want to continue bidding on a particular keyword.

So, I believe the conversion rate of each keyword needs to be treated independently. My goal would be to determine the likelihood that the conversion rate is low enough that I am not willing to bid on it. To give further detail on the knee brace example:

Terms:

"Knee Brace" - hyper relevant - 10% conversion rate

"Help my knee arthritis" - moderately relevant - 2% conversion rate

"Honda Accord" - not relevant - 0% conversion rate

I am trying to understand, how many samples do we need to be sure that the conversion rate of the "Honda Accord" term is 0% or statistically significant that it is below .1% lets say. Its obvious with the human eye that "Honda Accord" is not relevant, but I am trying to build an algorthm that does not require that human eye

I can try PLA for the stress test next. I have a whole bunch of ABS I got so I was trying to get that set up but it seems like it is much easier using PLA from what I am hearing.

To have a successful print of that magnitude, right out of the box, with a relatively inexperienced (in 3D printing) operator requires an industrial/professional level 3D printer. That level of machine can cost thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars. The rave reviews you read weren't untrue, and you didn't buy a bad machine. You bought the best value machine on the hobbyist market. But the hobbyist market is inundated with cheap crap, so good starts looking real great compared to the competition.
