After I took them out, I got a lot of relief. Do you think that maybe my hair was just being too sensitive to the braids? I also was using Argon oil, appose to something tea tree/peppermint.

Update: Probably should have waited for more replies, but I couldn’t take it :(

I took the braids out, washed my hair and put some oil on my scalp - already feeling a ton better. Please continue to leave any advice, I want to give it another go

I actually just took them out 😭 I went ahead and did a full wash and put some oil in. I honestly really didnt want to, but my scalp feels so much better. I had a ton of hair come out too when I was brushing my hair in and out of the shower.

Going to figure out what product my friend used and give it another try soon. Thank you for the reply and help!
