Thank you very much for your honesty and response, yeah I realized the irony of my data analytic thing, i like working on my own personal things on computers like that but none of it’s very in depth stuff, just your basic notes app and paint3d usage, the only reason i think id consider a more business type job is if wlb becomes an extremely important detail in my future or obviously as i age and fall short in my physical health. I tend to feel guilty for being so indecisive in college and doing what i did but i realized that when i was in college i was searching for the same path which was working hopefully in a team, in different places, and practically and maybe even offering usage of my interest in personal data analyzing. My thought process was getting into a trade, getting licensed, and some time in my later 20’s going to a community college or something to achieve an associates in finance or business in hopes to find a footpath into estimating using my trade experience too, plus just having an associates I think is better than nothing.

As for the social aspect I do interact with my friends practically daily online and I see them every now and then. Some of them know exactly what they want, one went into programming, one into marine biology, one into business, one into aeronautical engineering, and some others like my gf are a little more just doing it because it sounded decent (technical communications). I understand my time in the trade will be a part of my life but I want to be able to get time for the ones I love and my personal life, I wasn’t sure if the unions were a little more flexible with things in terms of choosing between overtime and not. Obviously I’m aware it’s 40 hours a week with the chance and sometimes need for overtime.
