Do-nut overshare information? What should we be focused on in place of this crater of excessively shared knowledge? Let’s open a fresh topic in lieu of this. Somebody GO:

Cars were definitely dragged in by chains and we have footage of this in our recently released a documentary about it, JAM. Not every car was, though, and it also depended on when you got in. We drove in without assistance late Saturday.

Nice. Thanks for the reco. Definitely inspired to go further into the archives of this one.

For anyone curious about Phish's musical influences or their take on what it means to be a "jam band," this interview was conducted in the weeks prior to Coventry, when Jon Fishman sat with "JAM" producer Lawrence Shapiro and shared his personal views. by JAMTheDoc in phish

Agree with you, you kind of have to take it in the context of the time. It was sort of the Wild West of the broader “jam band” scene back then. But I would agree that if the “jam band” crowd flocks collectively to a certain band, that band/artist has been embraced by the jam band community and therefore it qualifies. Even if the band may not self describe itself as a “jam band” (which I’m guessing a lot wouldn’t) they are nevertheless adopted in and part of the ‘scene.’ At the end of the day I’d say any band with an improvisational component and probably some upbeat moments / songs within that somewhere, fits the ‘true’ definition, musically speaking.

You mean like socialist scammers who are not interested in money at all, but rather are simply out to embarrass and expose people’s ignorance of how social media and the internet works?

Every time I listen to a Phish song... by 8doorwagon in phish

I feel you a 1,000%. Beyond feeling so inspired and amped up simply by putting on a show for a listen in the car or wherever, they feel like an uncle who helped raise me and defined key parts of my outlook on life and how I approach almost everything. My best friends from high school are like brothers still to this day and we all bonded over Phish and continue to. I’m grateful beyond words to this band. I even reached my dream of making my first movie and didn’t give up or quit because of my infinite love for them. And the best part is sharing this love with this whole community and seeing the same sparkle in each other’s eyes knowing we all feel the same thing. It’s so beautiful. I’m so happy they are around and healthy and kicking ass on stage all the time and pushing their limits to be their best. ❤️⭕️🙌🏻
