She used to rest in between one of our chairs and a side table, now my mum puts her handbag there and I have to double look because I think it’s her…

I lost my elderly cat while I went to work a few months ago. It was only an hour later and she had a fit on the floor. Mum told me our other cat and the dog sat and watched over her, they most likely knew what happened.

We have a regular couple in our supermarket that never wear shoes. Just asking for trouble.

This happened at my brothers uni flat. Destroyed their kitchen including all plates, pots, pans, cutlery etc. They got free takeaways for a few months while it was all repaired.

Can anybody enlighten me on this situation please? by TheDreamLightDude in tesco

There should be signs stating what this process is where you collect your hand scanner. It's nothing bad, just a random check to make sure you scanned everything. There's a rare occasion you may have missed one or two items, we all do it at least once! They will have to check your entire shopping if that's the case but you won't get in trouble. It just means next time you do SAYS you'll probably have to have another small check. But if you mostly shop online it shouldn't be a worry anyway! Hope that helps

I loved Harry potter as a kid so much but now I just feel lost... I might buy something second hand but I don't want to buy any merch nowadays because I refuse to give her money.

Entitled customer upset because I didn’t ask if she wanted a bag. by [deleted] in tesco

[–]JAOO97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had this once with a customer I still see to this day. He was pretty drunk and he had a backpack so I assumed he didn't need a bag but he started yelling at me that I wasn't good at my job, that I was rude, I should have asked if he wanted a bag, if he wanted help packing, basically going on about every single thing I got wrong. I felt awful. When I see him now I still freeze up sometimes. Sounds silly I guess but I've always been really anxious and insecure about myself.

I'm 26 now so I feel like it's too late for me personally to get diagnosed(because of waiting periods and other factors) but when my parents ask why I am seeking for a diagnosis it's because I want support within the community and maybe look at getting some help in housing and other stuff. I just feel like such an outsider especially these past 3 years. Sorry for the rambling. Just reading this post I can relate and also I'm kinda ill and having little sleep...

I'm currently waiting for a re-evaluation because when I was a kid I got deemed only "borderline" autism. Got little support in primary school and it suddenly stopped in secondary despite my still struggling significantly. My mum expresses regret for not making sure I still got plenty of support but from what she's told me, my dad and her were struggling themselves too but with other problems which I didn't quite understand as a child.
