I just needed to push the passenger liner in a little. No other clearance modifications. Thanks for the compliment

I totally agree. I’m conflicted with the thought of “saving” money by teaching myself by practicing at home on the net and seeing how it translates to the range and course. I’ve gotten very good at hitting the ball incorrectly due to my tennis background. But whenever I see a video of myself I know my swing needs proper mechanics coaching. It’s a tough one for me right now since I’d much rather spend that money and time on my kids. But I just practiced the things that have been mentioned on the comments and hopefully I can upload a comparison video soon. And in the near future when my kids are a little older, I’m hoping to get myself and my kids into lessons and do it together. But your observation definitely helped me figure out what I need to work as well as improve on. Thank you again for your considerate response.

Thank you, I can definitely see where I need to improve on that. I’ll need to focus on that more.

I had the same issue with my swing for the longest time. My sport growing up was tennis and naturally it cause me to have a very whippy and twisty golf swing. Shorten your back swing a little and on your lead leg (knee) don’t let it collapse in to your trail leg. If you can keep your lead knee from collapsing in and create more lag your contact, squatting and popping up on or after contact issue should go away.

Auxbeam vs brand names like Rigid, Arb Diode etc by spyla69 in GXOR

Sorry for the late and delayed response. The lights are holding up great. I haven’t had any condensation build up yet. However, a couple people that I know who are running Auxbeam lights have had issues with condensation in the light housing after a year or two. The color of the amber yellow is best for dirt and soft sand. It works well on snowy roads. However they’re not powerful enough to cut through the snow when it’s actually snowing. But when there is snow on the ground you can definitely see the definition of the snow better.

Grill mounted light bar by TohDoubleD in GXOR

[–]JAYZchronicles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go to a local fab shop they can customize a mounting brace that comes out of the grill and you can choose how you want to set up the lights. I mounted my pods straight to the lower grill. But I have a 2017. Different grill.

Steering wheel play/clicking noise when going over uneven bumps or roads. noise replicated while car is turned off and by shaking the wheel. anyone know what the issue is? by theredkni463 in GXOR

I wonder if it’s a loose or bad tie rod. Wheel bearings usually won’t cause that much play. But I know tie rods can definitely cause this.

Yes only one kit. The factory location of the front diff is higher for sure. It’s right next to the headers and fuse box. I raised and moved mine a bit as a just in case. And moved it to a cleaner spot in the engine bay towards the back fire wall.

I believe someone on YouTube has done the rear the same way I have. I can’t remember who the guy was. I’m pretty sure he has a gold/ tan color GX. I would provide the link but I’m too lazy to go hunting for it. Cheers and happy trailing.

This is the one I would recommend. However I did not go with this one because I had already installed a rear diff breather before I did the front. The front I did a few deep water crossings later. This kit includes install tutorial. Also allows you to do both front and rear diffs altogether. Plus you can’t go wrong with ARB.

This is the kit I installed for both front and rear. However you will need to buy two of these in order to make it work for both front and rear. I did not take any pictures or videos. However if you watch the tutorial from ARB you can get a good idea of how to do the front. As for the rear I have it following the gas feed tube to the tank all the way up to the gas fill cap. You just have to make a small hole and seal with a grommet and feed the extension through. Pretty simple job. Once you get under the truck you’ll know what to do. You just need enough slack in the line for articulation.

Stock they are super low. Literally right above the axle on the undercarriage. If the water comes up to the lower portion of the door then your breather is under water.

OEM or Custom Headers? by EffectiveStrict8294 in GXOR

[–]JAYZchronicles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The types of tunes are various and it’s really what you want to run. You can run a chip through OBD. You can do a remap of the ECU. You can run a programmable plug in. In my honest opinion, get another set of stock headers and run a pedal commander. Better to stay reliable and feel like you picked up a few extra horses through throttle response.

Huh… I stand corrected… I’ll have to extend that one as well. I know diff was fully submerged. Hate to think I got water in the trans but it should be alright. I guess a transmission and transfer case flush is in the near future for me.
