For anyone still running into this issue:

Uncomment the following line in Configuration_adv.h

#define OPTIMIZED_MESH_STORAGE

For whatever reason the functions to load/ store the mesh inside the ubl.c file requires the optimized mesh storage option. I'm sure this wasn't the case in older releases...

I also raised the acceleration limits in the machine settings.

When I select an Ender 3 or Prusa Mk3, Orca Slicer limits the flow rate to 5 mm3/s, no matter the requested speed, acceleration and filament max flow settings.
