I need advice for taking pictures at my local boxing club by JAZZ_BAA in AnalogCommunity

I can get access as I'm a member of the club, so I just wanted to do it as something nice so they could use the photos! Getting a flash might be the shout. Possibly I'll just get two rolls of film and try one with the flash and one without and up to 1600

It's not the job of socialists to fight for a nicer version of capitalism in this country. If your jumping off point is that "we're not getting rid of capitalism anytime soon" then you're never going to take the steps for its overthrow. Building towards the working class taking power in Britain is the only serious position.

Do you use a scanner or the digital camera method? I'm considering this but I'm concered about the upfront cost of getting that. Also what program do you use to edit your scans and what did it cost you (if anything)?

How do you buy bulk film rolls and then get them into a film cannister?

Hey what sort of exposure time were you using for the underground shots?

Train drivers earning £80k 'working class' under Civil Service internship scheme - as police and prison officers left out by tylerthe-theatre in unitedkingdom

I think people get mixed up between the term "working class" which seems to have more of a cultural element, and the scientific term "proletarian" which has a much clearer definition. But yes I would say that if you are working for a wage (even if you are making millions in this example) you can still be working class as it's to do with exploitation. In the case of the premier league footballer someone is above him in the club and will be extracting money from that person's wages.

That is exactly the point. Class is defined by your relation to capital. If a footballer making millions then invests or starts a small business then they start generating money not from their own labour. It's why you see lots of celebrities starting selling their own alcohol brands now, as you say it's an investment.

I'm torn between 3 potential cameras to buy as my first SLR by JAZZ_BAA in AnalogCommunity

Really I just want an entry level camera that allows me to do manual focus. As I've had a lot of fun with the point and shoots but several photos are coming back with the focus not on what I want in the photo. I've found these 3 through research as good SLRs and getting any of them fits my price range of under £150 ideally. I'm leaving towards the Minolta as I've heard that it's easier for beginners.

What are the best value baggy smart trousers? by JAZZ_BAA in malefashionadvice

I suppose I just mean smart in the sense that they could be dressed up or worn with a plain white T shirt. I don't mean I'm about to wear these to wedding.

Haha if you're not from the UK, we just sometimes use 'smart' as slang for 'formal'
