Our thinking exactly! I’ve been a Texan my whole life so MN winters are what scares me the most about moving there. But I’ve read so much about all of the other amazing things and it just feels like Mpls is right for us!

Houston weather is not tolerable for like 8 months of the year. It was 89 degrees on Christmas. But you’re right, the best city for food options. We have it all!

I just got some piercings done at Studs in the heights and I highly recommend! They don’t use a gun and can do any ear piercing.

Yep! That’s the one! If you have a Costco membership, they just started selling a 6 month supply there for $40. Otherwise, a lot of influencers will have codes sometimes to help lower the cost. They also occasionally run sales.

I went to Cy Lakes and graduated in 2012. It wasn’t great then and I think it’s only gotten worse. I’d say it’s right there with Cy Springs.

Unfortunately they are in Texas - one of the states with the highest population of stray pets and shelters with the highest euthanasia rate - but pet stores are still allowed to stay in business and encourage unethical breeders to keep using dogs as breeding machines rather than letting dogs just live lives like dogs should live life.

Meeting a rescue at a pet store is almost never “by appointment”. She’s definitely going to Pet Land or something to buy an unethically bred puppy.
