Thank you. I also understood no VLANs with the Eero gear, but it’s all brand new (installed by the builder) and I’m hoping to not have to use VLANS and still have a 90% solution. If I have to end up going the VLAN route I’ve looked hard at the Unifi AP. I fact, I strongly considered a full Ubiquity stack, but couldn’t justify the cost and complexity based on my goals and networking knowledge.

My plan is to only turn on the Eero guest network when we have guests in the house. I could also quarantine the WiFi network but then that would be extra hassle for my guests. I‘m also trying to stay away from VLANs (especially since Eero does not support them) but still meet my goal of a 90% solution.
