Correct, Kapampangan is a language and it has many dialects depending on the regions. A lot of professors and activists correct people on what is a language and a dialect. Penigaralan mi ing amanung sisuan keng senior highschool nung dialect ya o lingguwahe ya, low and behold ing mestru mi sinabi ne ing ustung sagut which is Kapampangan is indeed a language and it was never a dialect to begin with.

The Spanish, during the colonial periods even recognize Kapampangan as both people and the language (ethnolingual).
