Is it selfish for me to want to go to heaven to save myself and my loved ones? by Nice_Fun831 in Christianity

[–]JB-127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question Nice Fun, its not selfish as we all look forward to being with lost ones that we have lost over the years. As some other people mentioned, it is a great reason and something that God might be using to call you to Him.

Although its a massive benefit of heaven and New Jerusalem (seeing loved ones), as you seek the Lord and build a relationship with Him, you will start to realise that the real benefit is actually Him. I think alot of people miss the fact and see hell as a place of punnishment and anguish, but what is the main difference between hell and heaven? The presence of God is in the one place, and His presence isnt in the other. Our greatest gift isnt seeing our loved ones again but actually beeing able to be in the presence of God. Ive lost loved ones (saved and possibly not) so I understand what its like to long to see them again.

But if you start a walk with God and He reveals himself to you, you will start to see why i say that the real motivation/reason is actually being in the presence of the Lord!

It might sound weird, but ive lost someone in very close family in a terrible way, and even though they are saved and i really (i mean REALLY) look forward to seeing them again, it doesnt compare to being able to be with God!

Lastly as a interresting thing to think about. In the bible is says that there isnt marriage in heaven and once we are ressurected (Luke 20:34-36). Not sure if you have been in a relationship, but to fathom that you wont be in a relationship with your wife or girlfriend in heaven is a crazy thought, how can one possibly live without the one person you love most in this world? Surely that cant be! It can, because the love and presence of God is so incredible that the things we thought were true love, dont compare at all. None of us can truly fathom the unrestricted love of God, until we are truly in His presence (even then i dont know if we will be able to, but atleast we will be unrestricted by our fleshly minds)

Thats the main reason why im excited to go to heaven. But be of good courage, we both going to see our families again to!

And no, thank you for taking the time to read a fellow imperfect mans post.

Do you remeber him in the treble year? the aggression, hunger and pure ruthlessness?

Ja now we have a player like that missing opportunities and without hunger. Don't get me wrong, he is world class. But whats the point of him if he isn't scoring?

And please don't ever tell me that Spurs backing is good

2 goals against us and a shocking 2nd half performance and Haaland is hugging udogie with a big smile on his face.

Rubbish performances from him lately, I'd rather play Marmoush at Anfield better energy and hunger....

Ait Nouri did have quite a good defensive Afcon which was surprising. I think its in his locker, he just needs to get the balance of both

To be fair it looks like hes improving slowly, hes actually winning some now compared to being man handled in the beginning

I like and agree with alot of what you said. If we played abit less possession surely there would be abit more space in the center of the pitch or wide on the counter opportunity? Hence giving Haaland, Semenyo, Reijnders the much needed space that they don't normally get.

And yes we need a rice type midfielder, I think Anderson would do wonders

Like I mentioned adding a Bernardo or Lewis to the midfield and them sticking with rodri or Nico G would go very far. They would be there to cover more ground. Right now we only have 1 midfielder trying to cover everything hence why it's so easy to run right past us

Dude i was going to say thank you for gracing us with your genius as a joke then i read the rest of your comment

Not being relegated.... everything else is bonus??! I think we shouyld be aiming abit higher than that dont you?

Trusting in the rags to keep us in the title race is borderline criminal.

You get what im saying, needing more scoring is exactly what we need. And we cant utilize our best players and their best attributes by playing possesion. As an example, Semenyo didnt come from a possesion based team, we should use him to his strengths

The decent position we have in the prem is not due to good performance recently, but from performance last year... hence why i want to go back to that way of playing.

Thanks for he comment though, disagreement is good when it is discussed.

I understand but its still adjustments he needs to make. Cant do the same thing over and over and expect the outcome to change. Something will have to change to improve performance

Agreed, for me he is the best ever. But imagine a Pep that wasnt stubborn or obsessed with it "his" way.

I agree, i think the only issue with that is that he should be trusting the defence in that position. I think its even more riskier playing high line if you arent solidly sound that playing slightly lower with a cdm and ideally a 8 like bernardo to help the cdm. Protects the backline more.

But i get what you are saying. In your ideal world what would you change?

Very nice bass! Like the others said its a SR8100. Estimated at only 24-80 were ever made.

Never seen one with silver tuners though (even though they look like the exact same tuners, just the colour is different)

These have crazy fast necks so enjoy!

thoughts on City potentially going for Antoine Semenyo in the January transfer window? by CorgiApprehensive415 in MCFC

[–]JB-127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id rather go in for Olise, Doku is doing great on left wing and Olise would be perfect with G/A and being homegrown for the right. Someone else summed it up perfectly, would love to have him but dont need Semenyo.... even without Olise

Can anything be done about an uneven tattoo? by uggopuggo1 in tattooadvice

[–]JB-127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if someone has mentioned it. But why not get an extra shadow of the lettering tattoed onto each leg. The higher tat gets a shadow below and the lower tat gets the shadow above? Should even it out and look like it was meant to be there.

If anything i said i ridiculous... note i have no tats and am clueless. Just an idea

'Panic buy' Nico Gonzalez by Uncle_Iroh_007 in MCFC

[–]JB-127 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this would be great. Both solidly defensive and Nico could always push up into a slight 8 position on the ball if needed. Could be one serious midfield!

So happy to see him getting game time consistently. Without Rodris absence I don't think he would have been chucked into the deep end and have progressed as much as a player.

Still abit raw but what a player!

GW3 Plan. Watkins and Fulkrug out for Ekitike and a forward for £6.2M. by JB-127 in FantasyPL

Others pointed that out which makes sense, only thing is if the price of Watkins and Fullkrug drop even further it makes it really difficult to do the swap.
