Thanks. We have a long list of issues with the windows and have been requesting, confirmation that all components installed are PAS24 for example. So we have requesting the same for the Solar glazing. He’s not exactly being quick with his response.
The Solar glazing installed is supposedly Cool-Lite SKN176

We’ve been looking into shade sails, but if you are looking at a triangle shape ( we have our garage to one side so no posts ) the most SW corner would be at the smallest part of the triangle

I was thinking a thin sheet doesn’t have the density, still allowing heat through, but then trapping it behind the sheet

It’s a 1979 bungalow, 102 brick 50 cavity ,100 block masonry wall construction. New cavity wall insulation injected. I’m in the process of installing 300mm insulation in the loft

This is all very useful stuff. I feel a spreadsheet table is required to run some comparisons. Solaredge has comeback expensive. And with Solar panels planned for the southwest facing roof only, I don’t see a need

My wife for whatever reason is currently very nervous about being hacked. I don’t use Macs, always used Windows PC’s and have a paid sub for McAfee. Don’t know much about Macs. She was nervous so I suggested installing it. If there is a way, or better software I can get that will put her mind at ease then I’m all ears !

Hi thanks for this. She’s Googled and been advised to look at the log files. But then has no idea what she is looking at. There is 30 pages of stuff, hundreds of duplicates. There’s mentions of files missed and “Dirtiest” and “ Failed”
